Burgundy – A delightful former mill set in 4 hectares
This tastefully restored former mill oozing with period charm is set in 4 hectares of peaceful and very well-maintained landscaped grounds bordered by the Bourgogne canal and the Armançon River.
The ensemble includes a main building set in the middle of the grounds and crossed by the river as well as numerous annexes, many dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries, and some of which were built on the orders of Monsieur de Louvois, a minister under Louis XIV.
At the bottom of the grounds an old stone weir over which the river Armançon gently cascades offers a delightful place to swim in the summer months.
