Seed Storage & Seed Scoops

Customers often ask what they can use to store their bird seed in and we carry some great options for you in a variety of sizes.

We get our galvanized steel seed storage cans from our Amish bird seed supplier Lizzie Mae who has a fellow local business S and K Ware manufacture these high quality cans in Coldwater, Ohio. They are available in a 5 gallon size that holds approximately 20 lbs of mixed bird seed and a 100 gallon size that holds approximately 40 lbs of mixed bird seed. We currently have them in the traditonal silver galvanized color and also a bright yellow powder coated option to brighten up your porch or area where you keep your seed.

We also offer a smaller 6 quart plastic storage container with built in patented “Dual-Pour” top that allows you to pour bird seed easily from the container right into your bird feeder.

These are particularly popular for customers storing their nyjer (thistle) seed in to keep fresh and fill up their finch feeders without spilling any of it! And of course we have a few different seed scoops to help get your bird seed from your storage containers into your feeders. One of the scoops even has a trap door bottom that turns the handle into a funnel for precision filling!
