Your people in office lie to customers, and shouldn't be allowed by any company policies, when they lie to people they get people like me in trouble, due to their inability to hold a pick up date true, I got in trouble with the new owner and ended up staying at different hotels and paying a substantial amount of money for about a week because the PODS wasn't delivered to my new residence..
That's all, not really appreciated PODS, delaying delivery.

The drivers were great. Your communication with end customer is terrible. My delivery date was scheduled to be Monday, Jan 5. Monday afternoon I was told a Monday delivery was not possible. This caused chaos with the other contractors I hired.
Pickup was originally scheduled for later afternoon. Then it was changed to mid afternoon, then late morning, then next. All within a short amount of time, again causing chaos.

I previously used PODS when moving from San Diego to Northern California, and it was a great, easy experience. The container option made it simple to stage and plan my move, and everything went smoothly.
I intended to use PODS again for a move further north, but PODS does not serve that area. Otherwise, the service was very helpful for storage and move preparation, and I would use it again where available.

Everything with PODS was great until they had possession of our filled container.
We originally scheduled our POD to be delivered on January 19, but once we were already on the road and PODS had taken our container, the delivery date was changed due to their own mistake—they did not realize it was a holiday. The delivery was then moved to January 20.
On January 20, we received an email stating our POD would be delivered between 7–10 AM. At 8 AM that morning, we received a call saying it would not be delivered until the next day. Shortly after, I received another email stating the POD would instead be delivered between 8–11 AM, leading me to believe it was back on schedule.
When I called to confirm, I was told it was not being delivered that day—despite having three separate emails stating otherwise. During this time, a woman calling from PODS was extremely rude and unprofessional. She repeatedly declined my calls, hung up on me, refused to speak with me, and would not allow me to put my husband on the phone. She also declined his calls. We were simply trying to locate our belongings.
Eventually, we tracked down our POD ourselves at a warehouse. Once we physically showed up, our POD was delivered within the next hour, proving it was never impossible to deliver—just poorly handled.
After the move, I contacted PODS customer service hoping to resolve these issues. I was told that nothing could be done because the move was “complete,” despite the stress, misinformation, and unprofessional behavior we experienced. When I tried to explain further, the customer service representative hung up on me.
This entire experience caused unnecessary stress during an already difficult move. PODS was great at the beginning, but once they had our belongings, communication, accountability, and customer service completely broke down. I would strongly caution anyone considering PODS to be aware of how issues are handled once they have possession of your items.
