    Initially PODS was the ideal solution for me. We have to move out for a renovation project for a couple of months. I wanted a service that leaves a container in your yard, then picks it up when you're ready and takes it to temperature controlled storage, and finally returns it to your home when you need it. Unfortunately, I've made 10 phone calls to PODS in the last month. Each call takes approximately 30 minutes. You will be asked for your customer number, your PIN (which isn't secure at all because if you don't know it, they just read it to you anyway), and your address at least twice during each call, most of the time it will be 3-4 times because they will forward you between Customer Service, Billing, and Sales ... each time they will not relay your information, so you will begin again with whatever change or request that you have. Three times of the 10 calls I made a change: 1) once to change the delivery date (3 weeks ahead of the delivery date to a date further back), 2) once to remove content insurance after I understood the rigorous process to submit a claim including professional investigators examining every item in your POD and how you packed it, and 3) once to add a POD pick up date because the PODS.com website was down for 24 hours and I was unable to do it online. Each of these three times I called the request was somehow "lost" and I had to call back to repeat the request the next day. When I called again, they did not have any record of my original call and just apologized. Three times! This morning after being on hold for 19 minutes, I asked that they cancel my account. The customer service rep said the refund to my credit card could take 24 hours, so I asked that they send me an email indicating that my credit card will be refunded within 24 hours and the amount of the refund. They would not do this. Trey, the billing supervisor, indicated that I can call back and ask for him, but he does not have a direct line. It was over before it began, I'm afraid. Although the representatives were nice on the phone, this was a huge waste of time and now I still have to find a container service. And I'll probably have to call back tomorrow to do this all over again.

    No there obviously isn't anything you can do or you would have already done it. It shouldn't take a terrible review for you to finally get back to someone.

    I used this PODS facility to store my household goods for 2 years. I accessed the containers at the facility. They were always ready when I asked for them and placed in a a convenient location to access on the property.
