• I needed a storage unit for a few months and saw a Units container nearby and it had a 512 area code number. They looked local so I got in touch. What fantastic people, outstanding customer service, and great equipment. My previous experience with one of the larger national brands, ended up damaging my driveway given its steep angle and the delivery trucks low-hanging bumper, but not with Units. They have this really cool remote control device that offloads and positions the storage unit. The system had no issues at all with my driveway grade and the container was in place in no time. Plus, Units prices when compared against all the brands you know, are the same or better (trust me, I did the comparison shopping). In the end, these are kind, local folks that are great to work with when you need a storage container. • Our second time in a year. The first time was to give us space to clear out for the installation of 11 replacement windows. This time because we had a rotten frame around a skylight that had slowly been leaking for years. Again we needed storage nearby and asap. Each time Units came through-- quickly, professionally, with lots of options for delivery and support. We had a great experience last time and this time has started well with Bennie able to drop off the unit on our drive way while we were at lunch. She did a terrific job. We still had the lock from last time (and could find it!). The price is right for the service and support. We'll definitely use Units again if we have the need. We recommend them highly. BTW if you haven't seen them drop a unit off -- stick around for delivery. The UNIT was delivered as promised, actually earlier than the scheduled time. It was clean as a whistle (given that it's white on the exterior). The interior was clean and odor free as well. The guy who delivered it was super personable (Tanner). Love that they are an Austin company providing a service for the community. Love the fact that they aren't taking advantage of people with the "no contact phrase" that PODS is doing where they make no contact with you upon delivery or pick up (if they deliver at all during their scheduled window of time - my experience). We were socially distanced, masked and still able to feel a sense of human familiarity during the COVID window. We had our UNIT during the hard rains and not one drop of water broke the seal. We were able to get more than the four rooms it says it can accommodate. I would give 10 stars for punctuality, cleanliness, friendliness, and professionalism with an Austin air of casualty. • Fantastic Experience! This was my first time using a moving container so I had no idea what to expect. I did a ton of research and I ultimately decided to use UNITS because they seemed to have high quality containers and a process for loading and unloading the container that didn't make me cringe (like some of their competitors). I called in to inquire and Belinda was very responsive and helpful to any question I had throughout the entire process (it couldn't have been any smoother). They were super transparent about all of their fees so there were no surprises. The day of the container arrival I received text messages about the status of my driver so this was great, it kept me in the loop the entire time. That in itself is a rarity. The pods have Texas weather in mind. All white exterior pod construction certainly helped in the late July humidity and intense heat and was very welcomed when loading up the pods. Even the hinges for the loading doors were heavily weather protected with silicone. Plus Tanner demonstrated the ease of how the delivery process and pod placement was.
