A Centrifugal pump is a kind of water pump classification. It is collectively called a vane pump with an axial flow pump, mixed flow pump, and vortex pump. There are also positive displacement pumps, jet pumps, etc., while submersible pumps should be one of the centrifugal pumps. They rely on the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the impeller to transport the medium to a place where the pressure is higher or required.

So what is the difference between the centrifugal pump and submersible pump?

2. Submersible pump: It is important equipment for lifting water from deep wells. When in use, the whole unit dives into the water to work and extract groundwater to the surface.

Ⅱ. Different principles

1. Centrifugal pump: It uses the impeller to rotate to make the water produce centrifugal movement to work. Before the water pump is started, the pump casing and suction pipe must be filled with water, and then the motor is started so that the pump shaft drives the impeller and water to make the high-speed rotation. The water undergoes centrifugal movement and is thrown to the outer edge of the impeller and flows through the volute pump casing. The channel flows into the pressurized water pipeline of the water pump.

2. Submersible pump: The motor and the water pump are directly connected through a claw-type or single-key barrel coupling; equipped with three-core cables of different specifications; the starting equipment is an air switch of different capacity levels, an auto-decompression pneumatic device, and a water pipe It is made of steel pipes of different diameters, connected by flanges, and the high-lift electric pump is controlled by a gate valve.
