High quality INA water pump and thermostat assembly for 1.8T and 2.0T Gen 3 TSI engines. The water pump assembly on the Gen3 TSI engine is prone to leaking. Unfortunately it's fairly common to have more than one failure of this part during the lifetime of your vehicle. Fortunately, this kit from INA will make it a little easier to replace when it inevitably fails.

Installation Tip:
It's very important to thoroughly clean the surface of the engine when replacing the water pump. Over our many years replacing water pumps on these engines, we have noticed that failure to clean the mating surface where the water pump sits against the engine can cause leaking. Save yourself some time and money by taking the time to properly clean and prep the mating surface of the engine before installing a new water pump.
