3 sand slurry pump pump

Slurry pumps | SUMA

    Agricultural slurry pumps

Slurry is rich in nutrients and is often used as a natural fertiliser on fields. Slurry pumps play a crucial role when slurry needs to be pumped. They are used in many work processes, for example when pumping around various pits, shafts and containers or when filling slurry tanks before spreading the slurry on the field. Depending on the equipment, slurry pumps fulfil other tasks such as homogenising and mixing the medium.

    Product overview pumps for agriculture

    Long-shaft pumps

Long-shaft pumps are pumps in which the drive is connected to the pump component by a long shaft. They are usually driven by an electric motor or PTO connection for operation via an agricultural machine. The motor unit is located outside the substrate. Only the pump element is in the medium. Long-shaft pumps are available in stationary versions that are permanently installed on the slurry pit or as a mobile version with a lifting frame.

If the long-shaft pump has an agitator nozzle, the slurry can also be stirred and homogenised. This makes the medium pumpable. The mixing also ensures optimum nutrient distribution.

    • Maximum pumping rate: 192 - 531 m 3/h
    • For pit depths from 1.5 to 8.0 m
    • Maximum head: 15 - 30 m
    • Motor: 5.5 to 30.0 kW
    • Optional: nozzle
    • Optional: lifting frame for mobile usage

    Submersible pumps

Submersible pumps are pumps in which the electric motor is completely submerged in the slurry. They are either attached to a special suspension device and can therefore be adjusted in height and horizontal alignment to the fill level of the pit. Alternatively, they are permanently installed at the bottom of the tank.

Depending on the version, submersible pumps have conveying and agitating functions. In the stirring setting, the slurry can be stirred at the desired position for small tanks. The substrate is ideally mixed before pumping. Floating and sinking layers are dissolved.

In the delivery setting, the submersible motor pump is completely drained and transports the medium to the delivery outlet via a pressure line.

    • Maximum pumping rate: 192 - 476 m 3/h
    • For pit depth from 1.5 to 8.0 m
    • Maximum head: 15 - 27 m
    • Motor: 5.5 to 25,0 kW
    • Horizontally and vertically adjustable
