About 80% of heavy duty mud pumps are used in mineral processing plants in the mining industry. Because of the bad condition of ore primary separation, the service life of heavy duty mud pump is generally low in this section. Of course, different ores have different abrasiveness. For example, the relative abrasiveness of the concentrate conveying section is reduced, and the overall service life of the pump is longer. Therefore, when the general user often asks about the service life of the supplier's products in the purchase process, strictly speaking, any manufacturer will not promise an accurate service life cycle for the user without any foundation, because the service life of the wet end parts (wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant parts) depends on a variety of different factors, and the diversity and complexity of working conditions lead to the same quality The service life of the material is different. But in the early stage of model selection, we can let the powerful manufacturers do the reasonable design for the model selection.
The heavy duty mud pump is a double pump shell structure, that is, the pump body and pump cover are provided with replaceable wear-resistant metal lining (including impeller, sheath, guard plate, etc.). The pump body and cover shall be made of gray cast iron or nodular cast iron according to the working pressure, and shall be vertically split and connected with bolts. The pump body has a stop which is connected with the bracket by bolts. The discharge outlet of the pump can be rotated and installed at eight angles. The front and rear cover plates of impeller are provided with back blades to reduce leakage and improve the service life of pump.
