In order to ensure the safe and reliable operation of slurry pumps and give full play to the efficiency of equipment, it is very important to carry out daily maintenance and adopt correct maintenance and disassembly methods. Therefore, according to the characteristics of slurry pumps, we put forward the following maintenance and repair requirements for users' reference.
(1) Keep all parts clean, dry, free of oil stains and illegal leakage.
(2) Check the oil level in the bearing box every day. The correct oil level is near the middle scale line of the oil window and should not exceed 2m.
(3) Check whether the pump is running abnormally. And vibration leakage, find problems and deal with them in time.
(4) It is forbidden to operate the pump in a vacuum state, because the pump in a vacuum state will not only vibrate violently, but also affect the life of the pump, so special attention must be paid.
(5) It is strictly forbidden to enter metal objects and large solids that exceed the allowable limit of the pump, and it is strictly forbidden to enter rubber. Cotton, plastic cloth and other flexible materials, so as not to damage the flow-through parts, block the ten-wheel channel, and make the water pump unable to work normally.
(6) Regularly check the leakage of the shaft seal operation. When the leakage increases, the packing gland bolts should be adjusted and the packing should be replaced in time when necessary.
(7) It is recommended to use carbon fiber impregnated polytetrafluoroethylene or polytetrafluoroethylene packing. The packing method should strictly meet the following requirements:
The length of the packing is determined according to the circumferential expansion length of the sleeve. The cut should be 1200 for each circle of pressurization;
After filling with water, a water test run is required, and then the gland bolts are adjusted in detail during operation to achieve a state where water drips without tying the line. The packing pressure is very important. It is not only related to the sealing state, but also affects the performance of the pump. It should be given enough attention!
(8) To ensure the high/efficient operation of the pump, regularly adjust the gap between the impeller and the front wall of the volute (after a period of use, when the working conditions remain unchanged and the current slowly decreases) to keep it between 0.75-1.50 mm. The adjustment steps are as follows:

Evenly tighten the bearing body adjustment screw to move the bearing body toward the pump head. While tightening, turn the trolley until the disc stops moving. Note that the direction of the rotation of the car is consistent with the direction of the pump;

Evenly tighten the adjusting screws of the bearing body to move the rotor in the direction of the motor assembly. Adjust while rotating. Until the rotation is flexible, pay attention to the direction of Pan and the direction of the water pump:
Tighten the pressure adjustment screws and adjustment screws of the bearing body to completely fix the axial position of the rotor.
(9) Check the shaft music frequently. The peak temperature shall not exceed 70C.
(10) After the new pump has been running for 7-10 days, replace the lubricating oil once, and then replace it once every December depending on the use.
(11) Each pump should rotate 1/4 every 6 days. So that the shaft can evenly bear the static load and external vibration.
(12) The downtime is long. Before starting again, the sediment in the pump should be cleaned with backwashing before starting.
(13) Regularly check the looseness and cleaning of the inlet and outlet pipe system brackets. Make sure to support the curtain. There is no pressure outside the pump body.
(I4) Regularly check the firmness of the pump on the foundation, and the connection should be firm and reliable.
(15) Special attention: For new installations and cracks after inspection, make sure to test the motor direction first. Then install the connecting pin. Do not drive the motor to reverse the polymerization. The liquid in the pipe is allowed to reverse the pump when the motor is powered off, but pay attention to the height difference when it is particularly large (380m). Backflow should also be prevented to control the sudden reversal of the pump.
(16) When the ambient temperature is below 0C in winter, close the inlet valve after stopping the pump, fully open the outlet valve, and let the pump run idle for a few minutes. Drain the mud in the pump to prevent freezing.
