Best-in-class pump, flow control and flow-measurement solutions that safely transfer and precisely meter the most delicate of biologics, medicines and therapeutics, all while increasing yield, throughput and speed to market.
Find the information you need to help maintain your pumps.
Quattroflow® develops and manufactures, in close cooperation with our customers, Four-Piston Laboratory Pumps specifically designed for critical applications in the biopharmaceutical industry.
The Quattroflow® pump's method of operation allows it to gently, safely and securely convey aqueous solutions and biological products that are shear sensitive. The four-piston design does not include a mechanical shaft seal or wetted rotating parts, ensuring total product containment without abrasion.
Additionally, the four-piston pumping principle enables risk-free dry running, low pulsation, self-priming, and minimal particle generation. Quattroflow® pumps are available with cleanable multiple-use stainless steel or disposable single-use plastic pump chambers.
This makes the pumps ideal for laboratory applications.
In addition to its four-piston diaphragm lab pumps, Quattroflow has recently launched a brand new technology for microdosing in the biopharma industry called the 'QB Series'. The first available lab pump in the range is the smallest, called the QB2-SD, which is a game-changing, self-priming, low hold-up volume, compact, and lightweight alternative to peristaltic pumps, that generates high vacuum and high pressure, therefore handle a wide range of viscosities.

Introducing the new Quattroflow® QB2-SD Single-Use Precision Micropump. This pump is designed to offer unparalleled simplicity and ease of use for liquid-handling operations that require precise and delicate dosing of products in cell and gene therapy, laboratory, and small-scale upstream and downstream applications. It is a single-use, lightweight, and compact rotary microdosing pump that can optimize your biopharma and life science operations.
Truly unique in that their method of operation, Quattroflow Four Piston Diaphragm Pumps mimic the human heart, which is the perfect model for the safe, reliable and efficient transfer of biological materials in laboratory environments.
With an operation that offers low friction, low shear and low pulsation, Quattroflow pumps are ideal for critical applications within biopharma manufacturing, including Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF), Chromatography (RFC), centrifuge feed, sterile virus filtration, purification and inline dilution.
Quattroflow pumps can also be outfitted with a single-use liquid chamber, which enables them to meet strict speed-to-market manufacturing demands.
Quattroflow® Microdosing Rotary Pump technology consists of five components: a housing with integral membrane; rotor with a multitude of cavities; spring barrel; seal; and seal cap. When operating, the pump rotor creates an interference fit within the housing, ensuring that each cavity is a discreet chamber that is constrained by rigid walls.
Thus, as a chamber is formed, a vacuum is created that causes liquid to be sucked into the chamber. Each distinct amount of liquid is transported around the pump until it is emptied at the discharge port via the action of the spring-barrel-actuated housing membrane.
This unique method of operation features only one moving part and some flexing elements that result in a very cost-effective pump solution. Moreover, the use of a direct-drive motor means there are fewer parts to wear or maintain.
Quattroflow has extended our line of HT multiple- and single-use pumps with the addition of the new QF2500HT pump that features a compact design with high turndown ratio.
Quattroflow™ is pleased to announce the availability of its new Q-Control Integrated Pump Controller, which is designed to interface with a variety of flow and pressure sensors to provide users with automated control over their pump operations.
The Quattroflow pump family is expanding with the launch of its first QB Series micropump, the QB2-SD.This model is the smallest size in the family of single-use, lightweight and compact rotary microdosing pumps designed for precision and can be used to transfer delicate biologics.
