Bike Parks

Here on the Front Range we're lucky to have a variety of options in city bike parks. These are awesome spaces for kids and adults alike to work on skills and just plain have a great time. Whether you want to spend a day at the massive Valmont Bike Park in Boulder, or knock out a half-hour session at a neighborhood pump track, there's a park for every option.

Ruby Hill Bike Park

1200 W Florida Ave, Denver, CO 80223

This park is 7.5 acres, and features a slopestyle course, dirt jumps, pump tracks, and a skills course. The dirt jumps and slopestyle course have lines of varying difficulty, allowing riders to start where they are and progress their skills.There are two pump tracks, small and large, plus a 1.7-mile perimeter loop for warming up or introducing new folks to trail riding. Valmont Bike Park

3160 Airport Rd, Boulder, CO 80301

This is the gold standard for municipal bike parks. One of the first ones built in the country, it has just about everything you could ask for in its 42-acre expanse. You'll find a huge slopestyle course with wall rides and a whale tail, dirt jumps, multiple pump tracks, a dual slalom course with start gate, and a variety of singletrack and skills areas. There are even two sets of stairs for cyclocross practice or MTB skills work. The park holds races and events, and several organizations host skills clinics throughout the summer. Golden Bike Park

4471 Salvia St, Golden, CO 80403

This smaller but very fun park has multi-level tracks that combine high speed single-track with dirt jumps and pump tracks. Jumps are all constructed with bailout rollers for less experienced riders. The park is undergoing a revamp with volunteer efforts from COMBA and the GiddyUp Trails Team. Check out the Facebook page for the latest info.

Paved Pump Tracks

There's a handful of paved pump tracks scattered across the Front Range, and they provide a great spot for a quick skills session/workout.

Barnum Park North

This pocket park includes dirt jumps with progressive difficulty, slopestyle wooden features and a pump track. Its official name is Trestle Bike Skills Course, but don't get it confused with Trestle Bike Park at the Winter Park ski resort. You can check out Barnum's Facebook page for more information.
