Submersible sump pumps from Lowara the DIWA is suitable for clean and dirty water. Lowara's DIWA submersible water pump is made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel with a polyurethane internal coating for maximum abrasion resistance. DIWA pumps can be used to drain cellars, garages, construction sites, empty tanks and reservoirs, irrigate lawns and gardens, and remove domestic wastewater (washing machines, showers, sinks etc.). To prevent water ingress, the pump motor has a built-in thermal overload protection (230V only) and a double mechanical seal system made of wear-resistant silicon carbide. A lip seal and V-Ring protect the stainless steel rotating shaft from sand and other abrasive material damaging the shaft seals. Lowara's DRIVELUB continuously lubricates the seal system that ensures long life and trouble-free operation Because the pumped liquid cools the motor, the pump can run partially submerged without damage. GT versions feature a compact tubular float switch, allowing the DIWA pump to be used in situations where a standard float design would be insufficient due to space constraints.
