River dredging measures are one of the important measures for river and lake water pollution control, and it is also the earliest researched and widely used technology in the world. Restricted by geography and environmental conditions, natural waters, land areas and shorelines are often not fully suitable for the requirements of ports. Artificial channels need to be excavated for the entry channel, and sufficient water depth must be obtained through dredging in water areas such as ship navigation, turning, anchoring, the frontier of the wharf loading and unloading operation area. The land area also needs dredging to expand the port area and extend the shoreline for warehouses, roads and dock loading and unloading lines. In this case, the water area excavation and the land area dredging and filling should be combined as much as possible. It is necessary to use dredging methods to build a dug-in type harbor basin to extend into the land to increase the number of berths.

In the land reclamation project, the sediment is transported to the destination by large sand carrying equipment, and most of these equipment are bulk ships, which haven’t grabs, belts and other sand unloading equipment. The high-pressure water jet is used to dilute the sediment into a high-concentration slurry, which is transported to the final treatment area by the sand pump.
