REMA TIP TOP offers a wide variety of innovative, high quality products that protect plants from wear problems and a broad range of services precisely tailored to meet our customers‘ individual requirements. REMA TIP TOP material handling hoses were designed to outperform rigid pipe by using a flexible outer wall that can absorb energy due to its much greater displacement capability over steel.
Wherever abrasive slurries are conveyed hydraulically, slurry handling hoses provide a reasonable alternative to steel pipes. Typical fields of application are mining, mineral processing, sand and gravel plants, coal preparation plants, and the steel and cement industries. All of these plants require a flexible, hassle-free and quick-to-install slurry handling hose. The most important feature being a special wear-resistant inner tube liner made of REMAGOLD , natural rubber or another specialty compound as required by the application. The slurry handling hose enables an almost vibration-free and relatively silent transport of all conveyed goods. Additionally, compared to transport via steel pipe, it reduces flow resistance and improves the overall flow behavior. The high wear resistance of REMA TIP TOP slurry handling hoses provide for a longer service life, decreased line maintenance and reduced risk of wear leakages that result in contamination spills.
ADVANTAGES OF THE REMA TIP TOP MATERIAL HANDLING HOSES
• Extended life span compared to steel pipe due to inner tube liner • Reduced flow resistance, absorbed vibration and less noise emissions thanks to smooth inner surface • Weather and wear-resistant outer layer • Quick/simple mounting, no special tools required • Easily adaptable to plant changes
For applications that require oil, heat, chemical or other specialized properties, REMA TIP TOP can custom manufacture Material Handling Hoses in alternate rubber compounds such as; natural tan rubber, soft black rubber, hard black rubber, nitrile, neoprene, EPDM. Please contact REMA TIP TOP to discuss the specific needs of your application.
REMA TIP TOP material handling hoses are designed for high-demand operating conditions with abrasive materials. The REMAGOLD inner liner provides industry leading wear resistance coupled with a smooth surface lowering flow resistance. Th e highly elastic natural rubber compound also provides excellent resistance to wet abrasion. The physical properties of REMAGOLD make it the optimum rubber lining for industrial and mining applications.
Designed for superior performance in industrial and mining applications.
