Metso to deliver pumps to South32’s critical minerals project in Arizona

Metso has been awarded additional orders for the delivery of crushing, grinding, automation, and pump plant equipment for South32’s greenfield Hermosa project in the Patagonia Mountains in southern Arizona.

The Metso delivery includes VF Series vertical froth pumps, MD Series mill discharge pumps, Orion Series slurry pumps, and VS Series sump pumps as well as a Nordberg HP pebble crusher, Vertimill regrind mills, Courier on-stream analyzers, PSI particle size analyzers, LSA and MSA samplers.
