Features of Flue Gas Desulphurization Pump The slurry pump for flue gas desulfurization is designed to operate with slurries having a ph range of 2.5 to 13, a chloride ion concentration of up to 60,000 ppm, a maximum weight concentration of 60%, and can handle media temperatures of up to 120°c.
The pump's hydraulic design reduces frictional losses compared to metal pumps of equivalent specifications, resulting in an efficiency improvement exceeding 3%.
With all-metal construction ensuring precise dimensional control, the pump features smooth flow surfaces and minimal internal clearances. This design achieves higher volumetric efficiency, yielding an overall efficiency advantage of more than 5% compared to non-metallic pumps.
Types of Flue Gas Desulphurization Pump Horizontal Slurry Pump In Flue Gas Desulphurization The horizontal slurry pump in flue gas desulfurization, features a horizontal, single-casing, single-stage, single-suction design with bracket or suspension-type structures. It achieves a maximum flow rate of 12,000 m³/h and a head generally below 100 meters, covering all pumping requirements in desulfurization systems.
Vertical slurry pump in flue gas desulphurization Features a vertical, axial suction, single-stage, single-suction, single-casing centrifugal design. It is suitable for flow rates ranging from 4 m³/h to 360 m³/h and heads between 3 m and 82 m. This pump can serve as a large slurry circulation pump in absorption towers, as well as a limestone slurry transfer pump, gypsum discharge pump, recovery pump, or sump pump.
Power plant The desulfurization pump can be used for ash removal, slag removal, desulfurization, and mortar conveying.
