Submerged underwater horizontal sand dredge pump is used for being mounted on the suction ladder of a cutter suction dredger, the pump will be totally submerged in water during working, and directly driven by a hydraulic power or diesel engine, for getting the maximized mixture concentration and maximized dredge depth.

Underwater pump overview:

For cutter suction dredger, it have 2 types dredging pumps usually. One dredging pump in cabin and one underwater pump on the ladder. 2 pumps working together can have longer discharge distance and deeper dredging capacity. The total dredging depth can reach over 30m deep, and total discharge distance 2000-4000m.
