Are these pumps any good? Mainly water out of storage tank into sprayer. Reviews seem decent.
The Delta I have several 3". Just as good as a Honda for 1/3+ of the price.
Check your farm magazines for coupons. I have a few that I got for 149.00. Only issue I've had is they don't like to be rained on. End up with water in fuel.
Ditto. Cover mine with a bag.
Been using that exact one for over 6 years now. Starts every time. 1 or 2 pulls. Bought 2 at that time thinking just in case I need a spare. It is still in the box on the shelf. Mine does sit out in the rain. Never had a problem with water. The pull cord has broke once. That thing is way better than anything with a briggs on it.
What do I need for fittings to get to 2" pipe thread?
We bought a 3" trash pump from harbor freight with that same engine to pump water of a low area on farm. Have 100 hours on it so far and don't have a complaint yet.
I think a 2 inch fitting will screw on them. I think that is what I used on mine.
Cannot advise on the pump itself but I had one of those Chinese Honda knockoffs from Harbor Freight for a few years. It started and ran just as good as a real Honda and never caused me any trouble. The hardware they use on them is soft junk, but good enough. My only complaint was the throttle was quite stiff on it. I would buy another long before I would spend 10 cents on a brand new Briggs. Never could keep those things running. Best part is if they die you toss them in the junk pile and buy another. With an expensive Honda you feel obligated to try to fix it.

Have 2 briggs if someone wants them cheap. Had 3 or 4 of the clones. Work good but like mentioned the water gets to them like the Briggs. I will only buy genuine Honda's for anything I depend on. Too much frustration after year 1 with the cheap ones.
Great pump. Just don't let gas get stale in carb. Be sure to get one with npt threads. Some are metric.
I have the 3 in pump. Well pleased with it.
Guess I'll find out went and bought one, 165$ out the door with 20%coupon
