(1):Preparations before disassembly
a. Turn off the power to ensure safety during disassembly.
b. Close the inlet and outlet valves and isolate the source of the medium.
c. Open the drain valve to eliminate the residual pressure in the pump body and drain the residual medium in the pump body.
d. Remove the coupling device of the coupling halves.
e. Remove the motor seat bolt and separate the motor from the pump body.
(2): Disassembly sequence
a. Disassembly of the pump body The pump body can be removed by removing the extreme left bolt of the pump body and the fastening bolt of the pump back cover.
The pump body base bolt is located at the bottom of the pump near the coupling side. It is connected to the screw hole on the base and is most susceptible to acid and alkali corrosion and oxidation rust.
Long-term use will make it difficult to remove the bolts. Therefore, when disassembling, apply kerosene or loosening agent to coat the bolts, soak them for a period of time, or shake the nuts by hand to vibrate and rust them off. Disassembly.
b. Removal of impeller and pump cover When disassembling the impeller, use a wrench to hold the shaft nut at the front of the impeller with your hand, lower the nut in the direction of rotation of the centrifugal pump impeller, and use both hands to pull the impeller off the pump shaft.
Then loosen the compression nut of the packing gland and remove the packing to avoid increasing sliding resistance when removing the pump cover.
Finally, unscrew the double-headed nut connecting the pump cover and the pump body, and pull the pump cover out along the direction of the pump shaft.
If corrosion occurs, the pump body can be erected, the pump cover is placed at the lower end and suspended, and the pump cover is knocked around with a wooden hammer to remove it.
c. Disassembly of the pump shaft To remove the pump shaft, the shaft set (including the pump shaft, rolling bearings and anti-loosening device) must be removed from the pump body. To do this, the following procedures are required:
Remove the big nut at the rear end of the pump shaft and pull the pump's half coupling down with a tensioner.
Use a through-core screwdriver to punch the flat key down to remove the bearing gland bolts, and remove the bearing gland. At the same time, pour out the lubricant and tighten the shaft nut on the impeller end by hand to the shaft.
And hit the nut with a hammer to make the shaft group exit the pump body to the rear end.
Remove the locking device of the anti-loose gasket, use a lock wrench to remove the round nut of the rolling bearing, and remove the anti-loose gasket using a tensioner to remove the rolling bearing.
(3): Attention during disassembly
a. The gasket at the base bolt is used to adjust the coaxiality of the motor shaft and the pump shaft, so the gaskets at the same base bolt should be put together, and they are still installed in the original place when they are reassembled.
b. Residual medium in the pump body during disassembly can be rinsed with water to avoid chemical burns to the skin.
A process that must be performed after disassembling the parts during cleaning. The cleaned parts can be carefully inspected and measured. The quality of the cleaning work will directly affect the accuracy of inspection and measurement.
(1): cleaning tools
a. Cleaning agent The cleaning agent should have strong detergency, be volatile, non-corrosive, and insoluble. Common cleaning agents are gasoline, kerosene, diesel and soluble cleaning agents.
b. Oil box The oil box is a container for the cleaning agent. The size can be selected according to the size of the parts to be cleaned.
c. Brush and veil Use the brush and veil to pick up the cleaning agent to clean the parts.
(2): matters needing attention when cleaning
a. The cleaning of parts should be as clean as possible, and special attention should be paid to the cleaning of sharp corners or the inside of the groove.
b. When cleaning the bearing, first dig out the grease in the bearing, and use a new cleaning agent to clean the rolling elements and the inner ring and outer ring on the runway.
