slurry pump wet end parts reviews

SOLVED: LG Dishwasher won' t drain: LG OE (DE) Not blocked?-RESOLVED - Lg dishwasher

LG Dishwasher won' t drain: LG OE (DE) Hose not blocked?

Removed and cleaned out entire drain hose. Nothing blocked. Even cleaned out the siphon break assembly (White u bend at top left side).

Cleaned out drain pump. Tested resistance: ~3 ohms. And when it runs it has a good amount of water pressure when draining.

I ran it in drain mode with vinegar and clean water in a closed loop (e.g, I put the drain hose to drain back into the bu) for ~30 minutes. All good. Flowed away like a water fountain.

Here is the predicament. It will drain… and then stop. A forced drain cycle will hear the pump go, but it won’t drain water. If I then blow out the line with a compressor from the sink side and have it visibly bubble up on the inside of the dishwasher, it will then drain. But then f I then try to run any normal cycle, it goes for ~20 minutes and then the OE code. So blowing out the “clean” line seems to reset it for a while, but not for long.

Are there other parts or sensors that could be blocked that kill the drain signal?

    Update (11/21/2020)

Solved it myself! The y connection to the sink drain got plugged AFTER I started clearing the main line. Problem intially fixed for dishwasher hose was subsequently transferred to the y connections. Solution… always check all paths before and after you clear the main drain hose.

I think its an LDF7774ST. But, since posting this and spending 3 days taking all my dishwasher apart, digging out the air compressor, volt meter, 20 test runs, water all over the kitchen floor etc... I checked the where the drain hose connects to the undersink and found 2 cashews, some gum, and a couple pumpkin seeds. Running now... hasn't failed for the last 30 minutes. So basically it seems like a job I could have fixed with the removal of one hose clamp and a chop stick to poke through the block in 5 minutes.

So it appears to have been two issues. The line was blocked and then cleared. When I first disconnected the line, the y to the undersink drain was clear. After I blew the line, cleared that and drained the gunk into bucket, and reconnected it, other (now loose) crap then cycled through and plugged the y. All good now.

After you clear the line, make sure you also re-check the y connection to the sink drain.
