Slurry Pump Frame Plate Liner Insert - Pumpmfr

Slurry Pump Frame Plate Liner Insert

The slurry pump frame plate liner insert also known as the back liner or rear liner, is a critical wetted part of a horizontal centrifugal slurry pump system. Located at the interior surface of the frame plate and connected to the frame plate by bolts, it combines with the volute liner and throat bush to form the pump chamber that surrounds the impeller. It helps guide the slurry to pass through the pump and protect the frame plate from wear caused by the abrasion of the slurry.

Our high-quality back liner, typically made from high chrome alloy materials like A05, A49, and A33, is designed for efficiently handling highly abrasive or corrosive slurries in industries such as mining, mineral processing, and metallurgy. Proudly manufactured in our factory in China, we offer durable slurry pump frame plate liner inserts at competitive prices with shorter delivery times.

    PRODUCT DETAILS

The replaceable nature of the slurry pump frame plate liner insert allows for easy maintenance and prolongs the life of the pump by protecting critical components from wear and tear. Regular inspection and replacement of the worn frame plate liner insert is essential for the efficient and reliable operation of slurry pumps in various industrial applications.

    Assembly Diagram

The diagram below illustrates the basic structure of the SH series heavy-duty slurry pumps featuring a high chrome alloy back liner. The wetted parts made from other materials are interchangeable, while the non-wetted parts remain identical across different configurations.

Materials for Frame Plate Liner Insert

The following materials are commonly used for slurry pump frame plate liner inserts, with A05 high-chrome alloy being the most frequently used. Depending on the specific characteristics of the slurry and user requirements, options such as rubber, polyurethane, or ceramic are available. For exceptionally unique working conditions, we also provide customized services. Please feel free to consult our sales engineers for more information.

    Metal Materials

A05 27%Cr, Wear-resistant White Cast Iron.≥58HRC For abrasive wear with larger impact loads, suitable for working conditions with pH value of 5~12. A49 28%Cr, Wear-resistant and Corrosion-resistant Cast Iron.≥43HRC Suitable for corrosive environments with low pH, 3.5≤PH≤13, especially suitable for flue gas desulfurization with PH≥4 device, usually used in low-acid environments. A33 33%Cr, Wear-resistant and Corrosion-resistant Alloy.≥35HRC Used to transport oxidizing slurry with PH≥1, such as phosphogypsum, nitric acid, sulfuric acid, and phosphoric acid.

    Elastomer Materials

Natural Rubber R55 Black medium hardness natural rubber with excellent wear and corrosion resistance, suitable for conveying slurry of fine to medium particles without sharp corners. Natural Rubber R08 Back medium hardness natural rubber for impeller, used for impellers where superior corrosion resistance is required in fine particle slurries. Natural Rubber R26 Back soft natural rubber for liner, used for liner where superior corrosion resistance is required in fine particle slurries. Polyurethane PU01 Elastomer material more wear-resistant than natural rubber, The wear resistance is 3-5 times that of natural rubber, and it is resistant to oil, hydrolysis and corrosion.
