This Sludge Pump build is optimized to have the most fragments and the longest lasting puddles. Goo everywhere! We don't care about impact damage, but rather, slowing enemies and DoT. This is a support weapon that works well when your team learns how to play around the line of puddles. Your job is to slow everything down either with a one-off shot or a solid line of sludge that the enemies struggle to pass through.
T1: With Better Air Pressurizer, the sludge travels WAY farther (feels like a lot more than 33%). The Goo Bomber charged bomb effect also gets a good distance buff BUT the width of the line is thinner and there can be gaps. Air Sensitive Compound, on the other hand, doesn't travel as far but the line of sludge is a lot thicker. In big open rooms (e.g. Point Extraction) recommend going with Better Air Pressurizer; in close quarter battles (e.g. Salvage, Escort) switch to Air Sensitive Compound.
T2: More fragments.
T3: More DoT, longer lasting puddles.
T4: Spillback Extension for ammo conservation. But if you're finding the charge time too slow (i.e. Haz 5) and ammo is not an issue, consider Improved Spooling Mechanism.
T5: More DoT.
