How to start a slurry pump

When starting the slurry pump, the following steps can be followed:

3. Fill the pump body: it is usually necessary to inject liquid (such as water or thin slurry) into the pump body first to remove the air in the pump body

5. Check before starting: make sure all the valves are in proper position, usually the inlet valve should be open and the discharge valve should be kept closed until the pump is running normally.

6. Start the slurry pump: press the start button or switch to start the slurry pump.

7. Adjust the flow and pressure: after starting, adjust the flow and pressure settings of the pump as needed.

8. Observe the operation of the pump: observe the pump pressure gauge, flow meter and other instruments, pay attention to check whether the pump discharge is smooth, there is no vibration or abnormal sound.
