Move more mud with the Multiflo® Mudflo® submersible dredge pump.
Multiflo® Mudflo® submersible dredge pumps can be supplied as part of a complete dredging pontoon barge solution, with Linatex® dredge hose pipework and Multiflo® slurry booster pumps, or mounted onto common earth-moving equipment such as excavators.
We can also provide electric/hydraulic or diesel/hydraulic powered Multiflo® dredge packages depending on the application.
Multiflo® Mudflo® submersible dredge pumps feature Ultrachrome® A05 chrome alloy castings for high wear resistance.
Additionally, the Warman® MG-S pump-end, Multiflo® CB3 hydraulic cutters and ESCO® excavation teeth provide long wear life and efficient pumping of highly-concentrated and abrasive slurries.
Multiple agitator types from physical cutter teeth to high-pressure fluid sparger rings are available to suit the desired application.
Mud, sludge and spoils often accumulate in active or decommissioned mining and run-off pits and at times, it is necessary to transfer the material to another more suitable location.
It is common practice for sites to use a ‘truck and shovel’ method to transfer mud from sediment ponds and haul it as a part of their ongoing pond maintenance programs. However, the ‘truck and shovel’ method requires at least a spotter, an excavator operator and potentially multiple truck operators, coupled with a large multi-million dollar budget in associated machinery and operational fuel costs.
This “conventional” process is costly, labour-intensive, time-consuming and has a considerably high carbon footprint. In some instances, it is also a safety hazard to transport mud through a site in a truck bed.
Our submersible dredge pumps offer a more cost-effective solution.

Multiflo® Mudflo® submersible dredge pumps can be mounted to the quick-hitch of an excavator arm. In order to promote ease of removal and installation on hydraulic excavators, we offer a quick-hitch plate attachment.
Our Multiflo® Mudflo® pumps can also be dragged or pushed into position and shore-launched using common earth-moving equipment found on site.
