Designed for low maintenance and long wear life, our range of slurry valves consistently perform in tough conditions, including those with abrasive or corrosive slurries. Whether you need a knife gate valve, pinch valve or check valve for mining, or even an industrial application, our Isogate® and Delta Industrial™ slurry control valves provide ease of maintenance and maximum reliability. With slurry valve experts across six continents, we can help you get your flow under control, anytime, anywhere. For information and advice on our best valves for slurry applications within the mining industry, please get in touch with our team.
At Weir, we manufacture and supply a diverse range of low-, medium- and heavy-duty knife gate valves. Our Isogate® knife gate valves are engineered to provide reliable on-off flow control service in abrasive and corrosive applications and deliver reliability and long service life in severe and high-pressure flow applications. Whereas, our Delta Industrial™ valves are designed specifically for heavy-duty slurry applications featuring an innovative design, industry-leading performance, customisable features and absolute dependability.
Our range of Isogate® mechanical and pneumatic pinch valves are especially designed to provide effective control of abrasive and corrosive flow in mining and industrial process systems. The double-acting pinch mechanism closes the pinch sleeve along the valve centerline to maximise control of the process flow and minimise wear damage to the sleeve liner. Isogate® pneumatic pinch valves are especially ideal for remote operations using typical plant air, and do not require auxiliary cylinder actuators.
Our range of Isogate® check valves are designed for reverse flow prevention and quick changeover between duty and stand-by pumps in tough slurry applications. These valves are especially suited to mining and are often used within processes including fines removal, desliming, flotation, filtration and processing of coarse and fine particles. However, they can also be used in some industrial applications including chemical manufacturing, storage and sugar milling.
Our range of slurry control valves are backed by our unrivalled Weir Minerals service centre network; our experts are here to support you, every step of the way, regardless of your site's location. Given our in-depth slurry knowledge and focus on providing integrated solutions, our team is able to provide a range of on-site and off-site services to suit each customer's individual needs. If you'd like support with your valves, please get in touch with our team.
