Marie-Hélène has over 25 years of experience working in the luxury real estate sector in Paris, and with a particular focus on an international clientele. A Belgian native, she left her home country to travel across much of Europe, perfecting her linguistic skills at prestigious Oxford University. Following graduation, she headed for Germany to work in international commerce and advertising, before moving to Rome and working for 4 years in the Belgian Embassy’s cultural and political department. Married to a Greco-Swiss businessman and now living in Monaco, she put her personal career on hold in order to raise her family and assist her husband with his international business affairs.
However, following the tragic accidental death of her spouse, Marie-Hélène decided to concentrate on pursuing her career path, and with her two young children moved to Paris. Boasting a solid commercial background, a fabulous address book and a rich international culture, in 1997 she joined the capital’s market leader in luxury real estate to develop Belles demeures de France, the Féau Group’s international branch.
That same year Daniel Féau and Belles demeures de France joined the Christie’s International Real Estate network as an exclusive affiliate. Thanks to Marie-Hélène’s close working relationship with the Christie’s auction house, Daniel Feau and Belles demeures subsequently went on to become one of the oldest and most successful of Christie’s affiliates. With her hand-picked team, Marie-Hélène has led Belles demeures de France to become the reference for international buyers in the capital’s luxury real estate market.
Fluent in English, French, German, Dutch and Italian, and having lived in France, Belgium, England, Germany, Italy, Greece, Monte Carlo and the USA, Marie-Hélène considers herself to be above all European. “Owing to my profession, I evolve in an international circle. However, Paris remains nonetheless, for, me, the most beautiful city in the world… a conviction shared by my clients”. A passion for the French capital that Marie-Hélène relishes in sharing with her clients during their real estate search.
Thanks to her international background, she perfectly understands her clients’ desires and requirements, and with them rapidly establishes a mutual trusting relationship.
