Geek Bar is a brand of disposable vape. A disposable vape is a vaping device that’s charged and filled with e-liquid at the factory, which means that you don’t need to set it up before using it; you can simply remove it from the box and start vaping. When a disposable vape is empty, you’ll dispose of it in accordance with your city’s guidelines and begin using a new device. The Geek Bar brand comes from the well-known manufacturer Geekvape, and the Pulse isn’t the brand’s first device. Geek Bar earned its initial fame from a simple stick-shaped vape that was first released several years ago and is no longer sold in the United States. The Geek Bar Pulse catapulted the brand to international fame. Although Geek Bar has since released several other devices with enhanced features, the Geek Bar Pulse remains their most popular product by a wide margin.
The success of the Geek Bar Pulse ultimately comes down to three signature features.
The Geek Bar Pulse is the first vape that has a dual-coil design and gives you the ability to choose between single- and dual-coil vaping modes. The dual-coil mode is called “Pulse Mode,” and it doubles the device’s vapor production. You can switch between the single- and dual-coil modes using the switch on the bottom of the device. The switch also turns the Geek Bar Pulse off when it’s in the “Close” position.
The second signature feature of the Geek Bar Pulse is its smart display, which has two meters. The first meter shows the battery’s remaining charge, and the second shows an approximation of the device’s remaining e-liquid supply. The screen also lets you know whether you’re currently using the regular vaping mode or Pulse Mode.
The final thing that makes the Geek Bar Pulse special is the fact that it has a balance between a large capacity and a small size that really works for a lot of people. Although vapes with higher capacities have come out since the release of the Geek Bar Pulse, those devices are also larger. Vapers appreciate the fact that the Geek Bar Pulse provides plenty of vaping time – a week or more for most people – while still having a hand- and pocket-friendly shape.

The Geek Bar Pulse has three settings, which are selectable by changing the position of the switch on the bottom of the device. The three Geek Bar Pulse modes are: Off:The Geek Bar Pulse is off when the switch is in the “Close” position. Single-Coil:The Geek Bar Pulse is in the single-coil mode when the switch is in the middle position. In this mode, the device switches from one coil to the other as you vape to balance the wear between the two coils. Pulse Mode:The Geek Bar Pulse is in Pulse Mode when the switch is in the “Pulse” position.
In order to truly understand how to use the Geek Bar Pulse, you need to know what you’re seeing when you look at the device’s screen. Here’s a brief explanation of the three things shown on the display. The top part of the screen is the battery meter, which has five segments and is represented by a lightning bolt icon. When the meter is empty, it’s time to recharge your Geek Bar Pulse. The middle part of the screen shows your current vaping mode, which is represented by a four-part outline of a circle and a rocket ship icon. If the rocket ship is displayed, the device is in Pulse Mode. If the rocket isn’t shown, the device is in the standard vaping mode. The bottom part of the screen is the e-liquid meter, which has five segments and is represented by a droplet icon. When the meter is empty, your Geek Bar Pulse is empty or nearly empty. You should plan to replace it soon.
If you’re already familiar with modern disposable vapes, you won’t need an instruction manual to use the Geek Bar Pulse because other manufacturers have been copying this device’s design for well over a year now. In case this is your first vape, though, here are some quick Geek Bar Pulse instructions to help you get up to speed.
Tear the strip around the edge of the box and remove the inner pouch containing the Geek Bar Pulse. Tear open the pouch and remove the device. Remove the silicone plug inside the mouthpiece and throw it away.
Move the switch out of the “Close” position to turn the Geek Bar Pulse on. Puff gently on the mouthpiece to vape. When you vape, you can use the same mouth-to-lung inhaling style that you’d use when smoking a cigarette. You can also inhale the vapor directly into your lungs if you prefer. Use gentle air pressure to avoid drawing vape juice into the center air channel. If you hear a gurgling sound, you’re probably puffing too aggressively.
You can change the Geek Bar Pulse’s mode by moving the switch on the bottom of the device. The three settings are: Off:Switch is in the “Close” position. Single Coil:Switch is in the middle position. Pulse Mode:Switch is in the “Pulse” position.
When the battery meter reaches the bottom, charge the Geek Bar Pulse by connecting it to your computer with a USB-C cable. Charging the device should take a little over a half hour. Watch the battery meter to know when charging is complete.
The Geek Bar Pulse has a smart screen with an e-liquid meter, but what’s shown on the meter is an estimate and not an exact representation of how much vape juice you have left. When the meter reaches the bottom, you may still have at least a day of use remaining as long as the device still produces large clouds with a strong flavor. You’ll know that your Geek Bar Pulse is almost out of e-liquid when you notice a sharp drop in the vapor production and flavor quality, even when the battery is fully charged. When the device produces almost no vapor or tastes burnt, it’s empty.
We offer more than 50 Geek Bar Pulse flavors here at VapeJuice.com. Given the enormous selection, it’s natural that you might want a little help choosing what you’re going to try first. In this section of our review, we’re going to help you with that by running through some of our favorite flavors for this device.
Enjoy the goodness of everyone's favorite dark fruit in this instant classic Geek Bar flavor. Bold and rich, Black Cherry has just the right amount of sweetness and features unusual depth for a fruity vape flavor.
Blue Razz Ice is one of the all-time classic vape flavors, and Geek Bar's version is a big part of what has helped to make this flavor profile so popular. With a sweet blue raspberry base and a generous amount of menthol on the finish, it has exactly the "blue slush" flavor that you love.
The Miami Mint flavor puts a new spin on traditional fruit-and-ice flavor profiles. In most of these flavors, the fruit note plays the primary role, while the menthol hangs out in the background. Miami Mint is different because it's a mint flavor first and a fruit flavor second. You'll love this flavor's mild and bright citrus finish.
If you can imagine eating a handful of white gummy bears out of the freezer and feeling them melt in your mouth, you’ll have a good idea of what the experience is like with this Geek Bar Pulse flavor. It works unbelievably well.
If you enjoy frozen desserts, we think you’ll agree that sweet vanilla ice cream and tart orange are just about the most perfect flavor combination ever. That’s what you’ll get with the Orange Creamsicle flavor for the Geek Bar Pulse, which is a flawless experience from start to finish.
This flavor delivers the experience of an authentic pina colada exactly as it was meant to be -- blended with plenty of ice. You'll love this flavor's combination of slightly tart pineapple and smooth, silky coconut cream.
One of the best things about the Geek Bar Pulse is that it’s made by one of the industry’s top manufacturers. Geekvape is known for producing reliable products, and you’ll almost never experience a problem with your device. If you do encounter a situation in which your Geek Bar Pulse isn’t working, though, here’s what you should do.
The Geek Bar Pulse will cut off to prevent overheating and blink red if you take an extremely long puff. If that’s what’s happening to you, you can shorten your puffs to resolve this issue. Did you drop the Geek Bar Pulse on a hard surface? It’s possible that the puff sensor is stuck. Try tapping the device gently against your hand a few times to unstick the sensor. If that doesn’t work, try blowing firmly through the mouthpiece. If the device still isn’t working, it’s likely that the fall caused permanent damage. In this case, you’ll need to replace your Geek Bar.
If the Geek Bar Pulse doesn’t charge when you connect it to your computer, start by replacing the USB cable. In most cases, this will fix the problem. If the device still doesn’t charge, try changing the power source. The Geek Bar Pulse should charge with any wall adapter that has an output of 5 volts and 1 amp, but charging usually works best through a computer. Check the charging port for lint or dust. Remove any contaminants with a toothpick.
