Hello, could someone help been using the sigelei 150w Tc for few months which is great but tad bulky in pocket while at work. Can anyone recommend a smaller box mod around 60 - 70w, not bothered about TC usually use the TFV4 / TFV4 mini with pre build T3 coil did get the Koopor mini mainly as it was only £25 but the battery seems to drain before 1 tank with Samsung INR 25R. Been looking at these 2 Kanger Kbox 70W TC and eNVy 22 Stealth mod as these built in batteries more than 2500mah anyone have any experience with these or recommend a better one? thanks in advanced.
I've looked at the Kanger KBox and others like them. My favorite mid range wattage box mod is my Innokin MVP 3.0 Pro 60W. It has a built in 4500mah battery and will go almost two days at 10W. I'm not a high watt vaper, but 4500mah will get you farther no matter how you vape. It charges from USB so it's convenient to charge on the go.
It's on sale here for $47. Most places are getting around $60.
P4U IPV D2 or D3
I have two of the D2's and they have been outstanding but I build for flavor and they last a little over a day with a single 18650.
26ga, 6 wraps comes in at right about .8 ohms. Great flavor and good vapor and the battery goes the distance. Tine little sucker that fits nicely in your pocket. Only thing I would add is always turn off your mod when you pocket it, to many devices have had problems in peoples pockets lately because they leave them on.
Cloupor Mini Plus, the Evic VTC Mini or if you want really small and don't mind only having 40W the Council of Vapor Mini Volt. I own the first two and they are both superb little mods, both do TC if you change your mind later.
Thanks for the replies guys whats the battery life like with these single 18650 always find them to drains in just a few hours on ones I've tried which was why i was looking at mods with build in batteries over 3000 mah
The nebox by kanger is great. If you want to go down to 40w my wife uses an minivolt with a royal hunter mini and loves it
I have the IPV D2 also and think its swell and small, get 2 days out of 1 battery!
Battery life will be driven by the resistance of your coil. With a .8 ohm coil I can go the day, with a .25 ohm coil on the same device I get about 1/3 as much vape time on the battery.
Sonicbomb mentioned the Council of Vapor Mini Volt which also lasts a day with a .8 ohm build. Great little device that I can charge in my car or office on the PC but my build allows all day vaping.
Sorry to nit-pick, but on a regulated device it's the _wattage_ you choose that drives how long the battery lasts. Or more specifically, the wattage required to heat the particular mass of the coil you are using to a temperature that provides the vape you require to make you happy ...(breathes). Though generally it's true higher resistance coils made with higher guage wire (may) have less mass, requiring less power.
Tesla nano beleave it's the smallest 100 watt device out.4500mah batteries so should last a good while.or the tesla 60 watt which is even smaller than the nano.
wait for the soon to be released Aspire Plato:
Very pocketable, only 50w though....both nebox and athena envy are very wide, which makes them a little less pocketable.
Another option is the Xvostick, but the authentic is expensive, and the clone has some minor issues, and it is only 40W
The Aspire Pegasus has been very good to me so far. Built like a tank. Battery life is decent (not stellar). Does TC goes to 70w. I love the thing.
ETA: Oh! My wife has the iStick TC 60w which is another single 18650 mod that is pocket friendly. Quality is good. Has a little bit of flair with customizable panels. Runs 40 some odd dollars. Another good pick.
Ain't the the truth. I can run a Triton .5 coil and a Cleito .4 coil at the same wattage for a similar vape - battery lasts the same. But, I have to run a CoV Defiant .5 "ceramic" coil 10 to 15 watts higher for a similar vape and it wipes my battery fast.
With a .178 ohm dual Clapton 28g 430ss 34g wraped nichrome coils @ 40jouls
After pioneer ipvd2 and vtc Mini I wait for the Tesla Nano 60 Watt Box ... Looks very nice !
