EDGE Elite uses our most premium flavour formulations, at a higher concentration in our recipes than our flagship Core range. This is why Elite costs a little extra – we are using more flavouring to give the range a premium edge!
While you may notice that some of the flavours in Elite also appear in our cheaper Core range, they are not the same – the Elite variants of our flavours take our classics and rework them from the ground up to deliver uniquely premium versions that meet the needs of the most discerning palates.

All EDGE vape flavourings are developed in-house, but Elite represents the collective experience of our team of dedicated flavourists, distilled into a 10ml bottle. Freebase e-liquids are the original e-liquids, having been around since the very beginning of vaping. And back then, they were the only option available unlike today where you can get nicotine salt e-liquids as well as standard 50/50 freebase. Many people will still opt to use freebase nicotine e-liquids as they carry several benefits, which we'll explain a few of them below:
Freebase nicotine e-liquids have the widest variety of nicotine strengths available which can cater to all levels of nicotine dependency for people on their quitting journey. Being available in 3mg increments is advantageous to those who may be wanting to experiment with strengths without having to drop too low or jump too high. Nicotine Salts are commonly only available in 5mg increments which some people may not want.
EDGE Elite 50/50 e-liquids are ideal for those who are seeking to quit smoking and still get a similar experience. Not only are you able to tailor your nicotine strength to correlate to the amount of nicotine you'd previously got from smoking tobacco products, freebase nicotine also provides a throat hit when inhaled, much like a cigarette does and this is something some people want to replicate.
50/50 refers to the ratio of Vegetable Glycerine and Propylene Glycol which is used to make the base mixture for the e-liquid. This base mixture is what not only carries the flavour of your e-liquid but also the nicotine as well as producing the vapour which you inhale and exhale.
By having a balanced ratio of VG & PG, this will produce a subtle amount of vapour as well as giving a smooth throat hit, that can be heightened with the nicotine strength of your e-liquid.
50/50 e-liquid works best withcoils that are at least 0.8ohms or higher in resistance and used in either a pen style vape or pod vape kit which are proving to be incredibly popular with vapers around the UK.
It's recommended as the best e-liquid to help you quit smoking as it's available in tapered nicotine strengths using either a Freebase nicotine or Nicotine Salts.
EDGE Elite e-liquids are made with four core ingredients, which are;
VG works alongside PG as the base mix for any vape juice formula. It's the thicker liquid of the two and this is what helps binds all the ingredients together as well as what produces the clouds of vapour as well as enhancing the flavour of the concentrates used.
PG acts as the carrier of flavour as well as helping stabilize the ingredients. PG is commonly used in a lot of food products as well as medicines.
Whilst this may not be classed as a "core" ingredient due to nicotine free e-liquids not containing it, nicotine is still included in this list as the majority of e-liquids has it in. Nicotine is suspended in a PG base which is diluted to 7.2% and vape juice can then be offered in different nicotine strengths.

Freebase nicotine is the most commonly used form of nicotine for vaping. It consists of nicotine particles freely suspended in PG, making it easy to blend into stable e-liquid formulations. Our nicotine is diluted to 7.2% in PG, enabling precise calculation of different nicotine strength doses. Naturally alkaline, nicotine produces a noticeable throat hit when inhaled as vapour or cigarette smoke. Unlike nicotine salts, which provide a smoother experience, freebase nicotine retains this throat hit. If you prefer a slight kick when vaping, freebase nicotine is the ideal choice.

As the EDGE Elite range is mixed at a 50/50 VGPG ratio, we'd recommend pairing any of the Elite e-liquids with a pen vape or pod vape kit providing they use coils rated at 0.8ohms in resistance or higher.
This is so it provides a true mouth-to-lung vape experience, where you'll get a throat-hit effect from the freebase nicotine used, and it'll produce a subtle amount of vapour.
The wattage on your vape kit ultimately comes down to what coils you're using with your device. If it's a 1.0ohm coil, we'd recommend an output of around 10-12 watts if you can set the wattage yourself. However many vape kits will not have adjustable wattage settings but instead the device has a smart chip installed which automatically sets the wattage output based on the coil housed inside the vape pod or vape tank.
All of our EDGE e-liquids undergo the same rigourous safety and compliance checks before they are released for general sale. As we make our own e-liquids and do not involve any 3rd parties during any part of the process, we have total control over the manufacturing process and ensure that all raw materials used in our e-liquids are tested prior to use before testing the final product to ensure it not only meets our own high standards, but all necessary checks for safety and compliance which have been set out in both the TPD and TRPR guidelines. We also register all of our e-liquids with the MHRA and once they are approved, we can then sell our e-liquids to our valued customers.
We're proud to say not only our EDGE Elite range, but all of our EDGE e-liquids are made in the UK! We have a state of the art facility based in Manchester and this is where all of our vape juice making takes place. From ingredient testing, to flavour creation and mixing, all the way up to labelling and bottling the e-liquids to then fulfil your orders, it's done at our HQ in the North of England.
EDGE Elite and EDGE Max are exclusive to our online vape shop. Unlike our Core range as well as our Bar Salts range which are sold in most major UK supermarkets as well as convenience stores, EDGE Elite and EDGE Max can only be bought online from EDGE Vaping.
Storing your e-liquids correctly will ultimately lead to them staying in good condition and you'll be able to continue vaping them. We'd recommend keeping your EDGE Elite e-liquids somewhere cool and dark, like a drawer or a cupboard. And ideally keep your e-liquids await from harsh direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
Exposing your e-liquid to either of the later will likely cause your e-liquids to spoil, either the individual ingredients will begin to split instead of remaining mixed together or it can cause the nicotine to turn which will turn your e-liquid a darker brown colour and it'll be quite harsh on your throat when you go to vape the e-liquid.
On all bottles of EDGE Elite, they come with a "peel and reveal" label. If you look towards the top corner of your label, you'll see an arrow pointing to the corner. Simply flick your nail underneath this and you'll be able to peel back the label to reveal all relevant safety and allergen information.
Yes they are! All of our raw materials like our VG, PG and Nicotine are all plant based as well as our flavour concentrates that we use in our e-liquids. Alongside this, we do not use any form of animal products during the making process.
As you may be aware, there is a disposable vape ban coming to the UK in June of this year (2025) but this will not effect the sale of our EDGE Elite 10ml e-liquids. The ban is aimed at ending the supply and sale of single use disposable vapes such as Elf Bars or Geek Bars.
Whilst the future of 10ml e-liquid flavours is currently unknown, there has been talks of restricting the flavours of e-liquids sold at retail, but nothing has been set in stone so as it stands, EDGE Elite 10ml will remain being able to be sold as normal.
