Raz Vape, a subsidiary of Geek Bar, became a prominent brand in the US vape market for its high-performance disposable vape devices with a diverse range of flavors. Raz devices are designed to deliver an extended number of puffs, offering users prolonged use before disposal. Raz TN9000 is one of the “hottest” disposable vapes in the US market with an adjustable airflow feature and a huge selection of flavors hitting the “sweet spot” (e.g. unique dessert flavors, fruit-ice flavor fusions, etc.). Raz TN9000 disposable device contains 12ml of e-liquid of 5% nicotine strength and provides 9,000 puffs (i.e. equivalent to 450 cigarettes or 22.5 packs based on 20-puff-a-cigarette conversion rate). Raz TN9000 retails at $15.99 (with promotional prices as low as $10.99). Raz also markets the rechargable Raz DC25000 which model provides 25,000 puffs (i.e. equivalent to 1,250 cigarettes or 62.5 packs based on 20-puff-a-cigarette conversion rate). Raz DC25000 retails at $19.99 (with promotional prices as low as $15.99).

Users have reported various problems with Raz Vape devices. Some common issues include device not turning on, clogged airflow preventing vapor production and inconsistent or unpleasant flavors. There is also anecdotal evidence that RAZ vapes are causing chest pain, coughing and other respiratory system related issues altough it is not possible to quantify this claim as the product is not subject to post-launch surveillance.

RAZ Vape was identified as a popular brand with youth-appealing flavors through routine surveillance of US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Subsequently, on September 12, 2024, the FDA issued a warning letter to FUNCOOL Technology, doing business as RAZ Vape. The FDA determined that certain RAZ Vape products, including the Raz DC25000 and Raz TN9000 Disposable Vape, were sold in the United States without the required marketing authorization. These products were deemed adulterated and misbranded under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.

RAZ unveils the RAZ LTX 25K Gush Edition, a disposable vape with 16mL e-liquid capacity capacity and “explosive taste of mouthwatering burst of candy-like juiciness”.
