Are these products legal to purchase?

We offer federally legal products thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill. This legislation makes all derivatives, isomers, and cannabinoids in hemp federally legal, provided the final product has less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC. 3CHI products are all hemp-derived and contain less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC. Note that hemp-derived cannabinoids are regulated differently by each state, and those laws are constantly changing. Does 3CHI perform testing on its products?

What is CBD?

CBD, or cannabidiol, is a compound in the cannabis plant with amazing potential benefits. It does not get you high, but may be helpful with many issues of discomfort, and there are currently numerous government-backed studies being conducted on its many uses. CBD can be paired with other parts of the cannabis plant to enhance or change its effects. That is often why you will see terpenes or other cannabinoids in our oils.

What's the difference between a vape cartridge and vape pod?

The main difference between vape cartridges and vape pods is the style of battery each uses which are not cross-compatible. The 3CHI pod system uses a proprietary battery that leverages a magnetic connection to secure the pod to the battery making it quicker and easier to switch between strains. Vape cartridges use 510-threaded batteries which require a user to screw on/off the cartridge to make changes. Batteries for 3CHI vape cartridges and pods are not included and must be purchased separately.

How should I store my products?

Storing products in a cool, dark place away from sunlight at or below 70° F will help maintain product potency. Heat and UV light are the main causes of cannabinoid degradation. The typical shelf life of our products, excluding bakery items, is 12-24 months.

Why does my vape taste burnt?

Improperly primed vapes result in burnt coils which can produce an unpleasant taste. To test if your vape is primed, take a short 1-2 second “preheat” hit. If you get vapor, the coil is primed. If not, your vape coil needs priming. The best way to prime your vape is storing it in a vertical position so the oil naturally falls to the bottom, saturating the coil. If a vape was previously stored horizontally, priming with vertical storage can take over 24 hours. To accelerate the process, carefully heat the vape with a hair dryer or wrap in a watertight bag and submerge in hot water for approximately 1 minute while keeping the vape vertical.

What are terpenes?

Terpenes exist in almost every plant and fruit. They are aromatic oils that exist to lure pollinators and repel predators. Often, your favorite cannabis strains are defined by their terpene flavor profile. Cannabis terpenes actually come from the same glands that create the cannabinoids, and it is thought that they play a role in differentiating the effects of each strain.

Why are there terpenes and other minor cannabinoids in my product?

Our products benefit from what is known as the “Entourage or Ensemble effect.” This means each cannabinoid grows more potent when other compounds from the cannabis plant are present, thus resulting in more effective treatment for you.

What is MCT and why is it in my product?

3CHI’s MCT (medium-chain triglycerides) is a coconut-derived carrier oil. A carrier oil is any plant-based oil that helps “carry” the cannabis compounds into your body by diluting them into a more easily digestible state.

How do I take a tincture?

Tinctures are intended to be taken under the tongue, but they can also be applied to the skin in small amounts. Note they will not enter the bloodstream if applied to the skin. When using orally, place desired amount under your tongue and hold them in place for 90 seconds before swallowing.

What shipping methods do you offer?

Standard Shipping: Allow up to 7 business days for delivery via US Postal Service. Vape Shipping: Allow up to 4 business days for delivery. Vape shipping is required by law for orders containing vapes that will be shipped to California, Illinois, or Indiana. Private Carrier: Allow up to 4 business days for delivery via private carrier (non-USPS). Beverage Shipping: Allow up to 4 business days for delivery. Beverage shipping is required for any order containing seltzers. Expedited Shipping: Allow up to 2 business days for delivery. Order must be placed by 1pm Eastern, Monday through Thursday. No weekend deliveries. Cannot ship to PO boxes. May not be available to rural areas. NOTE: Shipping methods offered will vary based on the products in your cart at time of checkout. Estimated delivery times do NOT include warehouse order fulfillment, which typically takes 1 to 2 business days. All times are estimates, and once an order is in the hands of a carrier, we cannot make guarantees about delivery.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes. All orders with subtotals over $99 are eligible for free standard shipping. Subtotal calculation includes any discounts and excludes shipping, fees, and taxes.

Do you offer cold shipping?

We offer seasonal cold shipping for orders containing edible products, which are not heat resistant. Your edibles are at a higher risk of melting during transit if cold shipping is not selected. Selecting cold shipping does not guarantee your edibles will arrive cold. Only edible products in an order will be packed for cold shipping. Cold shipping utilizes the carrier’s expedited shipping method. Orders must be placed before 1pm Eastern, Monday to Thursday, to be shipped the following business day.

How long will it take for my order to ship from the 3CHI warehouse?

Orders usually take 1-2 business days to be shipped. Our shipping department operates Monday through Friday. We’re closed on weekends and most major holidays during which time orders are neither fulfilled nor shipped. You’ll get an email with tracking information when your order is ready for the carrier. Once an order is in the hands of a carrier, we cannot make guarantees about delivery times.

Do you ship to military bases?

No. 3CHI supports the brave men and women of the US Armed Forces. However, Department of Defense policy prohibits the use of products containing hemp-derived cannabinoids by service members.

What is Route Package Protection and why am I charged for it at checkout?

Route protects you in case your order gets lost, damaged, or stolen in transit. 3CHI recommends adding Route package protection at checkout to all orders. If Route package protection is not purchased, 3CHI is not liable for lost, damaged, or stolen items.

How do I sign up for the 3CHI Rewards program?

Create a 3CHI.com account…that’s it! All customers who create an account are automatically enrolled in our free rewards program.

How do I earn rewards points?

There are 3 ways to earn rewards points, and they never expire! 1. Get 200 points when you create an account. 2. Get 100 points on your birthday (must be on file in your Account Details). 3. Earn 5 points for every $1 you spend on every order.

How do I redeem rewards points?

Make sure you are logged in to your account. If you have available points, you’ll see a prompt at the top of the cart and checkout pages. Select the amount of points to redeem and click “Apply Points.” Every 100 points redeemed is worth $1 off your order.

How do I delete my account?

Click the “Delete Account” button at the bottom of your Account Details page. Any subscriptions associated with the deleted account will be canceled. Use with caution as this action is NOT reversable. When you’re ready to come back, you can create a new account any time. Click the “Delete Account” button at the bottom of your Account Details page. Why do I need to verify my age at checkout?

Per the PACT Act, vapor products can only be purchased by customers 21 years of age or older. 3CHI complies with all state and federal regulations. Age verification is performed by AgeChecker.net and may require photo submission of ID.

What is excise tax?

Vape products (also known as Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems or ENDS) may be subject to a special tax known as excise tax. This is a result of the PACT Act’s (Prevent All Cigarette Trafficking Act of 2009) 2021 amendment to the Jenkins Act. This act revises provisions governing the collections of taxes on, and trafficking in, cigarettes and smokeless tobacco. Excise tax for vapor products varies by state, so we recommend checking with your state government to determine the excise tax rate for your state.
