The Aegis line of mods are one of our favourites. Luckily Geekvape decided to make a mini version. If you aren’t familiar with the Aegis, their big selling point is how hard wearing they are with IP67 waterproof rating as well as being shockproof and dustproof.
It’s a mod even the clumsiest vaper will struggle to break but what Geekvape have managed to do is wrap it all up with a great looking design. The OLED screen is big and clear and the internal 2200mAh battery offers some lengthy vaping times.
The quality is second to none with leather grip and replaceable panels should you decide you fancy a change of colour, or scratch them from the occasional drop.
The Aegis Mini can be vaped upto 80W, so fine for most sub ohm vapers but it also works well when paired with a mouth to lung vape tank that doesn’t need oodles of power. This will stretch the battery life even further.

2. Voopoo Argus MT (Best Small Mod With Internal Battery)
VOOPOO are one of the biggest brands in the vape world and the products they release are quality. This is true for the VOOPOO Argus XT and MT mods.
There are two options available in this device, the integrated battery and replaceable battery option. Both excellent choices.
The Argus XT is compatible with 18650/21700 batteries (not included in kit), while the Argus MT features a built in 3000mAh battery.
Both are capable of powering upto 100W with the only difference between the two is size. Not much in it though.
Both are nice and compact in the hand, the tank (MAAT Tank New) that comes with the kit version is also very good if a new tank is needed.
An overall great performer as well as looking the part.

3. Innokin CoolFire Z50 (Best Mini Innokin Mod)
This is one good looking device. The Innokin Z50 is a very compact 50W mod measuring in at just 26mm x 33mm x 69mm (without the tank). Despite the size it still manages to fit a beautiful OLED screen and an impressive 2100mAh battery.
The mod is superb in terms of build quality and will keep up with the majority of tanks on the market. As long as you aren’t pushing the 50W max too much of course.
The kit version comes with the Zlide tank which performs well for the mouth to lung vapers out there. You can of course switch to any other tank as long as it’s within the parameter of the mod.
One for vapers who like clear and easy functions with a large splash of good looks thrown in.

4. Vaporesso GTX One (Best For Beginners)
The Vaporesso GTX One is more of a slim mod than a tiny compact mod like the Innokin Z50. But it’s still pocket friendly, that’s why it’s made the list.
With a built in 2000mAh battery and 40W max output this is one for the mouth to lung vapers or the lower wattage sub ohm vapers amongst us.
When it comes to design and build quality top marks all round. Not a kit you would be embarrassed about whipping out in public!
The kit version also includes the GTX 18 MTL tank which is a perfect partner and almost scored top marke in our review when it came to flavour. The reviewer is a picky sort as well 🙂

This new kit from Aspire aims for simplicity and is one mainly for the mouth to lung vapers out there. Although the Tigon tank it comes with does offer a sub ohm coil as well.
It offers just 6 wattage settings ranging from 8W-16W. The control for this function is hidden away on the base of the mod, keeping the rest of the design simple and clean.
The Reax Mini is one comfortable mod to hold in the hand and almost disappears in the palm, hand size dependent of course 🙂

The Innokin EZ Watt is, as the name suggest, easy to use! Yes, this is a superb vape mod for beginners or those looking for a no nonsense mod.
There is no temp control functionality here, this mini box mod is targeted towards vapers that want a straight forward, easy to use vape device. 35W is plenty for many vapers but if you are going to go below 0.5 Ohms then you ‘may’ be better off looking at a mod with an increased power output.
The 1500mAh battery, on paper, may not look as good as some of the other mods but we found the battery life to be very good with mouth to lung tanks at around 20W.
The size and weight is just right as well, the EZ Watt sits comfortably in the palm of your hand.

The smallest of the small vape devices do have limited battery life, especially if you are sub ohm vaping.
If you are using a mouth to lung tank such as the Innokin Zenith that requires less wattage to run, they will of course last a lot longer.
So, unless you are a very light vaper, we would recommend mini mods with built in batteries be used as a secondary, or complementary device to your main vape.
