I just tried to go there to order some more 100mg/ml Nic and got re-directed to "Flavor something ??" instead. It's been 4 years since I have bought Nic and am now wondering if ecigexpress has gone out of business. Any one know the score ?? There used to be a thread comparing all the different Nic's and testing them one agin the other, but I can't find that thread either.
I believe they did change their name.
Moved you to DIY E-Liquid Flavor Jungle is their new name. Your thread : Nicotine Comparisons
Thank you , I knew I could count on you to clean up my mess (posting in the wrong thread). Thank you for the "Flavor Jungle" info, BTW every time I tried to use the 4 year old link I had for Ecigexpress it took me there. I looked around for a few minutes but didn't find any NIC for sale. Guess I'll just go back and have a further look-see.
...pop into here : Random DIY mixing and More I think you'll enjoy it
I just spent some more time at "Flavor Jungle" looking for Nic and couldn't find any listed, sooo, I went over to My Freedom Smokes and picked up a litre of 100mg/ml in PG. That should do me for awhile. Thanks to all of you for the help on this, I appreciate it.
EcigExpress sold off all of their nic base, clearanced out most all flavorings that had to do with tobacco, and changed their name. Wanted to get away from anything obviously connecting them to Ecigs and vaping...like several other vendors have done already in the past. For more nic base...check out Heartland Vapes for their 100mg/mL House Nic. It's very good quality and is regularly only $44.99/Liter. When on sale it's obviously even lower, and their Free S/H starts at only a $50 purchase. Many of us have filled our stashes with their House Nic base. By the way...they're supposed to have a sale for Memorial Day!
WoW !! Thanks for the heads-up. Tell me please though, is that Heartland Vapes Nic a dirty or clean type of Nic ?? I liked the EcigExpress Nic because it was slightly tobaccoie and was Great as an Unflavored vape (I've been using it that way for the last 4 years). I just hope that the MFS Nic I just got has that tobaccoie taste to it also.
You're welcome for the info. about Ecig Express. As far as whether HV's nic is a "dirty" or "clean" type of nic...I don't vape unflavored at all, so I don't know about any tobacco taste in it. But I personally don't get any tobacco taste when I make my DIY with it at 7mg and a finished 40PG/60VG ratio. However, that's the type of nic base I love, 'cause I don't want that taste at all. That's 1 reason I only bought 1L of MFS nic base once...and gave most of it away, when I first started DIY. IT definitely had a peppery taste and throat hit to it. That was in December of 2014 though, and I heard afterwards that many people had complained of the same thing. People said that they later changed it so it was less peppery, but not totally without it. So you may like theirs! They've also raised their prices in the last 5-6 months, which turned quite a few people away from them. It used to pretty consistently be $50/Liter. Don't know what it's up to now. Seemed like price gouging to some.
Damn, 52- it's been a while! I was always reluctant to try Heartland's house nic because it was kind of a "no-name" and cheap. But I got a liter of it, and it's actually the best nic I've had. Part of it is what you're talking about- it smelled so good when I was decanting to smaller bottles, I couldn't believe it. A faint, but definite true tobacco aroma. Don't hesitate on that stuff, it's great! I'm not really sure I can taste the difference, since I only vape NET juice, but I love the smell of it. Oh, and I'd tried PurNic, Chemnovatic, Wizard, and Nude before. I like it better than any of those.
Winner Winner chicken dinner. Thank you very much for that JC, I appreciate it.
Hey Brewdawg, whats hattnun ?? You fuel my anticipation about getting some now, and I might even be4 I get my MFS order.
I've only used MFS,heartland and wizards lab.all three have seem to be the same to me.now a days there is even more company's that people here like.
Thank You , I will check it out.
You might want to wait for their coming Memorial Day Sale that they told about awhile ago. I think several others are waiting for it, too.
Thanks JC, and I Will do just that.
I have several liters of Heartlands house brand nic and decanted my 1st 2 liters of it recently. Both liters had a wet dog smell (not strong) that many people have told me is normal. Definitely no tobacco smell. I have not tasted it yet. You are the first person I have heard about that has had nic base that tastes like tobacco. I hope none of my liters taste like tobacco, I'd be ....... lol I f you want nic that's nice and clean, heartland sells CNT brand as well at a higher but reasonable price. I never bought any but I have bought their ejuice which is now made with CNT - it's definitely a little cleaner tasting and doesn't get discolored very fast. In fact, I bought 120ml of peppermint ejuice from them 3 months ago and it's still crystal clear. When they used their house nic to make their ejuice, it would always arrive slightly yellowish and within a few weeks it would double in darkness. As always, YMMV.
Wet Dog ??? I might have to re-think this whole thing.
I'm new to DIY, but from what I understand that "wet dog" smell" is common in nic base. Not just heartlandvapes. "Wet dog" smell is what I call it, others call it "old gym bag" smell. Wither way, it's not a desirable smell lol. But in the end it's all about what you want and expect. Some people will only buy and use the best and most expensive nic base and claim they can tell the difference. But quite a few on ECF have claimed to go from expensive nic to heartland house brand and can't tell the difference. When it's on sale for $10 off per liter, it's pretty hard to beat that price ($35/liter).
