hi all thanks for the replys. looks like some good projects. i just got one off ebay from the us. will do a review soon.
Those are good instructions thanks. Dicko..
esayest way to get hold of one that is solid and reliable is to walk into the local fishing shop and buy a yabbie pump/handpump designed for pulling yabbies out there holes any fishing shop would have them jarvis walker would be your cheapest brand or shurecatche cheers
mate a yaby pump and a gold n sand are miles apart Ill apolagise (spelling) if im wrong but your gold is going to drop straight out the bottom of a yabby pump befor you get it to your bucket. also the gold n sand pumps ALL the gravel and sand and gold from the same spot Its not hard to opperate, it light, it handles 10mm gravel well. I just havent had a chance to use it properly yet first time I used it I got alot of black sand in my pan. I dont know if there is gold there or not
i have only used it twice and so far it works very well. lots of black sand and a few bits of colour.
Hey Camfish, Yabby pumps work a treat, just make the nozzle end to fit and away you go. Probably a 25mm tip would be good. Cheers and HH Brad..
I stand corrected I guess you have to narrow down the end to give it some holding ability.
i have a gold n sand pump rigged up to a slueice works great
