Rohde Nielsen provides a wide range of hopper and grab dredgers tailored to accommodate specific and challenging requirements. Our fleet consist of specialised vessels designed to meet specific needs, and can perform very complex marine projects.
Our trailing suction hopper dredgers are highly suitable for Coastal Protection, Land Reclamation, as well as Capital And Maintenance Dredging of ports and waterways.
Equipped with advanced technology, our vessels employ various methods to deliver sand; We can either pump sand onto the beach using a floating or submerged pipeline, or pump the dredged material directly out over the bow of the ship to the fore shore, also known as The Rainbow Method. Thirdly, our vessels can place sand close to the shore with the split-function in the vessel’s bottom.
