Our range of GEHO® ZPM double-acting positive displacement pumps are designed for moving abrasive and corrosive slurries with a high solid content, dirty water and process mixtures at the lowest total ownership cost possible. These piston diaphragm pumps contain a unique preformed GEHO® diaphragm that protects the piston and liner from abrasive slurry contact. Frequently used in mining, typical applications include transporting paste tailings, mine dewatering, mine backfill, hydraulic ore hoisting, autoclave and reactor feed, digester feed, tailings disposal, thickened sludge processing and transfer, coal slurry transport, coal gasifier feed and HCSD ash disposal. Although used in similar applications to our GEHO® TZPM pumps, GEHO® ZPM piston diaphragm slurry pumps are smaller in size and contain only two cylinders compared to the ZPM's three cylinders. GEHO® ZPM double-acting piston diaphragm pumps offer the following benefits: Exceptional reliability and high pump efficiency (up to 96%), Can pump solid / liquid slurry mixtures with high pressures or high heads, Have a low carbon footprint with low energy water consumption, Produce minimal heat during operation, Have a unique preformed GEHO® diaphragm that protects the piston and liner from contact with the slurry, Have long maintenance intervals, Contain valves that can be replaced quickly and have a long service life, Contain nitrogen controlled dampener that adapts to changing operating conditions while the pump is still running. When properly maintained, these pumps can last 30+ years of continuous operation. For more information about our range of positive displacement pumps, please get in touch with our team.
GEHO® ZPM double-acting positive displacement pumps are specifically designed to pump solid / liquid mixtures with high pressures/high heads within heavy-duty mining and industrial applications. GEHO® ZPM piston diaphragm pumps are renowned for their reduced carbon footprint as a result of lower energy consumption and high efficiency rates (between 85 - 95%). Our innovative pump technology is backed by continuous advanced research and in-house laboratory test facilities, resulting in superior efficiency, reliability and availability. These piston diaphragm slurry pumps also contain a nitrogen controlled dampener that adapts to changing operating conditions while the pump is still running, reducing installation and design costs and promoting smoother pipeline operation. At Weir, we have gained worldwide reputation for consistently meeting our customers’ requirements with dependable customer and field support. By aligning our own objectives with those of our customers, we strive to build long-term and mutually beneficial partnerships. We offer comprehensive support under flexible servicing agreements that are tailored to our customer needs and ensure on-time delivery of genuine parts, reducing operating costs. All GEHO® piston diaphragm pumps are backed by our unrivalled Weir Minerals service centre network. No matter where you are in the world, we have a local after-sales service team on standby to ensure that your GEHO® pump is monitored, optimised and serviced no matter what. GEHO® ZPM positive displacement diaphragm pumps offer long maintenance intervals and low operating costs. They also contain many design features that ensure uninterrupted, trouble-free operation and reduced operating and maintenance costs compared to other available transportation systems. The diaphragm inside the pump separates abrasive slurry from the pump's operating components (with the exception of the valves), protecting them from wear and ultimately prolonging the life of the pump. This means significant savings on wear parts, resulting in a very economic and reliable product for pipeline transportation. When properly maintained GEHO® piston diaphragm pumps can continue to run year after year, 24 hours a day; with references of GEHO® pumps in operation for 30+ years.
GEHO® pumps are considered the technological leaders in high-pressure, crankshaft-driven, piston diaphragm and hydraulically-driven piston pumps. These pumps operate in a wide variety of applications all over the world from mining and mineral processing to pipeline transportation industries. GEHO® pumps have been used for slurry pipelines since 1975, covering a total distance of more than 4750km. We work closely with professionals within the industry to make slurry pipeline operations reliable and economical. We have also become both an innovator and pioneer in the transport of high-concentration red mud slurries from alumina refineries. Backed by extensive application expertise, we offer the best technology, equipment, service and technical support to solve your tailings disposal challenges. With this capacity, GEHO® piston diaphragm slurry pumps offer bottom line advantages and great value for money. We also pride ourselves on working closely with our customers and their wider teams to build long term customer relationships. Our global team of experts are here to support you, every step of the way, wherever you may be.
