Horizontal polyurethane slurry pump

One of our customer has 8 sets of 6X4D horizontal slurry pumps. While the wet end parts are worn out very quickly. After check the liquids and site condition, we suggested the client to use polyurethane liner/impeller to replace high chromium or rubber materials parts of the existing pumps. And now, the service life of the 8 sets slurry pumps increased 2-3 times.

The polyurethane elastomer is a new polymer synthetic material between rubber and plastic. It has high strength of plastic and high elasticity of rubber. It has physical properties such as wear resistance, oil resistance, acid and alkali resistance, aging resistance, ozone resistance, low temperature resistance, tear resistance, compression resistance, high elasticity, strong vibration absorption, large load support capacity, etc.

The main features of polyurethane slurry pump are as follows:

1. Its wear resistance is very outstanding, generally in the range of 0.01-0.10 (CM) / 1.61km, about 3-5 times that of rubber material.

2. High strength: their breaking strength, series strength and bearing capacity are much higher than that of general rubber. Under high hardness, the impact strength and bending strength are much higher than that of plastic.

3. The wide hardness range still has the elongation and resilience of rubber under high hardness. The hardness range of polyurethane elastomer is shore a10-d80.

4. Oil resistant: polycarbonate elastomer is a kind of high molecular compound with strong polarity. It has little affinity with non-polar mineral oil and is almost inviolable in fuel oil and mechanical oil.

5. It has excellent shock absorption performance and can be used for shock absorption and buffering.

6. It has good low temperature performance.

7. Radiation resistance polyurethane has good performance of high energy radiation resistance, and it still has satisfactory performance under the radiation dose of 10-10 Ge.

8. The polyurethane slurry pump has good machining performance. (turning, milling, grinding and drilling are all available).
