The Oase AquaMax Eco Classic waterfall pump moves debris from the pond bottom to the pond filter, helping to maintain the ecosystem's natural balance and beauty. It functions as the central point of the pond filtration center and features a large pre-filter (strainer) to catch large particles of pond debris. The AquaMax Eco Classic pump features an energy-efficient motor with an automatic system shut-off that prevents damage in the event of a dry run or blockage.
This model can function when submersed or dry, and the compact design allows for discreet and strategic placement in aquatic environments. Includes a grounding plate to prevent electrical hazards to ensure safety and includes 3 adaptors to accommodate 1", 1.25", 1.5" kink-free tubing, spiral tubing and 1.5", and 2" Sch 40 adapters.

The Flow Chart below is designed to allow you to plot your pond's water-flow requirements, and easily determine which pond pump will meet those requirements.
Start by calculating your pond's specific water-flow requirements, measured by Head Pressure (Feet) and Gallons Per Hour (GPH) water flow. Our Interactive Pond Help Guide to Choosing a Pond Pump will guide you step-by-step through the process.
After plotting your calculation on the Flow Chart, find a pump that falls in the middle third of the pump curve, not too close to either axis. Pumps that fall on the fringes of the curve will not work as efficiently for your application, and they will be pushed to their operating limits, reducing their life span.
You are better to slightly oversize a pump than to undersize. When oversizing, you can always install a ball valve to reduce the water down to your desired flow.
Choose a pump that does not exceed the indicated maximum flow rate on your filter or water feature. Also, be sure the tubing you select can handle the flow rate of your pump.
