Mudhens can be used for most slurry water applications. Originally designed for the demanding world of concrete – options include pH adjustment, larger pumps, slab carts, and trailer mounts. The equipment can be configured and utilized in many ways: It pulls slurry water out of your containers, from a pool or any vessel. It cleans the water and discharges it to drain or back into a container for reuse in your equipment. Whatever your needs – wheel it into an elevator or through a doorway to your work area. Mudhens can be used just to clean a dumpster, pit or water tank and re-circulate the water until the vessel is clean (i.e. "slurry to clean.") Handing concrete slurry water never has been faster or more reliable. The MudHen is a portable, flexible and easy to use solution for concrete slurry. Jobsites that create slurry and need to store and transport slurry can save thousands of dollars by utilizing a Mudhen. The Mudhens are designed with multiple modes of operation. Equipped with a 10 foot hose to suck slurry water out of any container. A standard garden hose connection on the output allows you to send the water to drain, to reuse the water, or to use the clean water to wash down your equipment. Cakes can be easily disposed of using optional trays or sludge bags as well as a standard wheel barrel or can.

The MH2 has twice the collection capacity of the MH1 and provides 'twice' clean water for additional uses. The system can be designed with a portable sludge slab cart or you can use a wheel barrel or another type of container positioned beneath the screen plates for convenient disposal of the caked slabs. The MH2 needs a minimum of 8 scfm of air to produce between 8 & 12 gallons per minute of clarified water. The debris containment plates holds 2 cubic feet of solids.
The MH4 is the concrete slurry water recycling king! For large job sites requiring a high volume of slurry to be processed efficiently and effectively. Like the MH2, the MH4 can be designed with a portable sludge slab cart or you can place a wheel barrel or another container beneath the screen plates for convenient disposal of the caked slabs. The MH4 needs a minimum of 12 scfm of air to produce between 14 & 20 gallons per minute of clarified water. The debris containment plates holds 3.5 cubic feet of solids.

MudHens can solve a variety of slurry water issues for different applications. They are commonly used on stone, ceramic and glass slurry as well as other slurries that have a high quantity of suspended solids. Pump trucks, stone and tile saws, cement and mortar mixers along with industrial slurries can be treated to remove the vast majority of suspended solids. If you’re working in an industry where wastewater is a byproduct, you’ll need an effective method to treat the slurry water. A filter press is the perfect solution, but it isn’t just one size fits all. It’s important to consider size before investing in a filter press. It’s easy to simply choose the biggest option and assume the filtration process will go smoothly as long as it isn’t overloaded. But bigger is not always better, so you should choose a filter press after carefully considering your needs and the application you are using it for. In certain applications, cake and water quality can drop if the press is oversized. Additionally, a filter press than is too large can make your costs rise, not only with the initial purchase but when running the machine. Thoughtful design and pairing with other technologies can reduce the size and overall cost of your purchase. To determine what size filter press you need, two main factors are considered: ---The quantity of solids being filtered and the gallons per hour flow --- If you only need to filter a few gallons per hour, a smaller filter press should do the trick. If your gallons per hour flow is much higher — for instance, 500 gallons of water per hour — you’ll want to go with a larger filter press (MH2 or MH4.)
