Custom built, the Hippo Slurry Pump Range provides pumping solutions that are robust, rugged, reliable and flexible. The pumps capacities are extremely diverse and can assist in applications ranging from high-volume dewatering applications to settled out acidic and corrosive slurries. The Hippo Slurry Pump Range can be built to explosion-proof standard IEC 60097-1:2005 and is available in various formats and applications.

The Hippo Heavy Duty Slurry Pump Range was designed and developed to be capable of pumping corrosive and abrasive slurries. The heavy duty slurry pump range was named after the Hippopotamus that is habitant of the waterways in Africa and has similar characteristics namely being robust and strong. The Hippo pump range consists of both an all metal heavy duty slurry submersible as well as a vertical spindle cantilever pump range.

The Hippo Vertical Spindle Slurry Pump Range is an all metal vertical spindle pump that consists of a Bottom Suction configuration, Bottom Discharge configuration, Top Suction configuration and a Vortex configuration. With proven reliability and efficiency the HIPPO pumps can effectively deal high density abrasive and corrosive slurries. With the capabilities of running dry and pumping heads up to 110 meters and flow 1500 litres a second, it can handle any application.
