Summary

The ZJE-I special pump is a slurry pump with unique performance characteristics. In recent years, it has been referred to by industry professionals as a "filter press dedicated feed pump." This pump draws slurry from the rear, features a simple, leak-free packing seal, and more importantly, has a steep flow-head curve, making it ideal for special operating conditions.

Selection

The main technical parameters listed in this document are data at 1480r/min. For applications requiring low pressure, the impeller can be trimmed or the pump speed reduced. Alternatively, the ZJ series slurry pumps manufactured by our factory can be selected; the mechanical seal of the ZJ type pump is also "leak-free", similar to the ZJE-11 pump.

This pump is a pressure-inlet suction pump with a short suction lift; it is recommended that the feed liquid level be higher than the pump center. The inlet and outlet pipe diameters are generally the same as or slightly larger than the pump inlet and outlet diameters. Since the liquid concentration is mostly high, the pump inlet pipe should not be too long to avoid affecting suction.
