Filter presses are used to dewater minerals or sludges for dry stacking tailings, producing concentrates, or dewatering solids from wastewater treatment circuits. Most filter presses have hydraulic rams that compress plates filled with sludge, while compressed air is blown through the cloths to remove water. Caked solids are dumped from the cloths when the hydraulics expand the plates and allow the product to fall most often into a large steel dumpster or bin.
D'Angelo International can supply new, used, surplus, or rebuilt filter presses in a wide range of sizes for various applications. See our inventory above or contact us for options you do not see listed.
