Genuine Warman® Centrifugal Pump Parts and Spares | Weir

Genuine Warman® Centrifugal Pump Parts and Spares

There's only one spare part for a Warman® pump - a genuine Warman® spare part.

    Overview

All Warman® centrifugal pumps are designed, manufactured and installed to operate under demanding conditions that place every component in the pump under a significant amount of stress.

When you buy genuine spares for Warman® slurry pumps, you get so much more than just a volute liner, impeller or side liner.

Instead, you’re making an investment in a product that will receive expert lifetime support, achieve higher pump performance, last longer and reduce your process’ risk profile.

Compared to counterfeit and non-genuine parts, our range of genuine Warman® replacement parts provide the following benefits:

    • Made from our highest-quality, cutting-edge wear-resistant materials to improve reliability and peace of mind
    • Greater efficiency and wear life resulting in reduced waste, lower CO2 emissions and lifetime costs
    • Legendary wear life in harsh, abrasive and corrosive mining conditions
    • A lower chance of critical components failing which could result in safety risks due to high-pressure slurry spray
    • More predictable lifespans
    • Less localised wear from gaps between liners, excessive vibration during operation or fitment interference
    • Fewer interruptions to the hydraulic performance of the pump, improving throughput, total head and efficiency
    • Enhanced safety features such as the use of specifically designed Warman® lifting tools which may not properly fit replicated parts due to dimensional deviations, greatly increasing the risk of accidental movement or slippage of the suspended part.

In addition to the points above, our team follows stringent quality control standards and extensive safety testing to ensure that each part undergoes lengthy and precise design processes.

Replacement parts are built in state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities all over the globe, with specific heat treatment, proprietary moulding and high quality casting.

Given we can't test parts and accessories sourced from other vendors, the installation of such parts and accessories may adversely affect the performance and safety features of our products.

The failure to properly select, install or use authorised parts and accessories is considered misuse, and damage or failure caused by misuse is not covered by our warranty. But not only that, any modification to our products or removal of original components could impair the safety of these products in their use.

    Warman® Pump Wear Parts Range

    Warman® Impellers

Our range of Warman® pump impellers are manufactured to be the proper dimensional and hydraulic fit with our supplied volutes and liners. This ensures that engineered tolerances are adhered to and hydraulic performance is as designed.

Impeller threads are machined with custom inserts and very tight controls on thread diameters to create a proper robust assembly.

Warman® Liners (Throatbushes and Frame Plate Liner Inserts)

Our pump liners are expertly engineered to provide superior function, fit and performance within our range of Warman® pumps. These parts are offered in multiple variants to suit a wide array of duty conditions and wear life targets.

    Warman® Volutes and Volute Liners

Warman® pump volutes and volute liners can be made from a range of materials to ensure performance in a range of applications and to ensure that pressure and head requirements are met.

How to Adjust a Throatbush on a Warman® Mill Circuit Pump

Close-up image of Ultrachrome® - wear-resistant, high-chromium white irons for WARMAN® parts such as impellers, casings, volute liners and throatbushes.

    Ultrachrome®

Ultrachrome® alloys are a series of high-chromium white irons that deliver excellent wear resistance in moderate to highly corrosive environments.

Our most popular alloy is Ultrachrome® A05, which contains approximately 27% chromium by weight and is known as a near eutectic alloy.

This alloy provides a great balance of hardness and toughness, making it effective for general-purpose pumping applications and applications with very large solids (sometimes as large as 300mm in size), or those rated pH4 or above.

It provides modest corrosion resistance for a number of components such as the impellers, casings, volute liners and throatbushes.

    Hyperchrome®

The Hyperchrome® range consists of a number of hypereutectic iron-chrome alloys, featuring high proportions of chromium carbide to produce incredibly strong metals.

Our most common Hyperchrome® alloy, A61, contains 50% chromium carbide and achieves outstanding erosion resistance. This makes it ideal for conditions with a broad particle size distribution such as mill discharge slurries.

The premium Hyperchrome® A68 alloy benefits from new metallurgical advances that combine the robust wear resistance of A61 with the anti-corrosive properties of our Ultrachrome® A05 alloy.

This makes it ideal for moderately corrosive environments that require a harder material than Ultrachrome® alloy.

Rubber liner for WARMAN® MCR® 450 pump in R55® natural rubber.

    R55® Natural Rubber

For most mill circuit applications, we recommend R55® rubber – our proprietary, high-performing, highly wear-resistant elastomer.

Our R55® premium-grade material is recommended for use in high-wear applications. It is a black natural rubber, of low hardness and is used for pump liners, impellers, throatbushes and other wet-end parts.

The R508 natural rubber s a specialty premium-grade material for WARMAN® pump parts developed for use in a high-wear, large-particle erosive applications.

    R508 Natural Rubber

Our latest elastomer, R508, is a specialty premium-grade material for use in a high-wear, large-particle erosive applications, developed specifically to improve wear resistance over R55® rubber.

It is a black natural rubber of low hardness, high resilience and high tear strength. Superior physical properties give increased cut resistance to hard, sharp particle slurries, making R508 ideally suited to mill discharge applications.

This premium rubber compound is used for pump impellers, liners, throatbushes and other wet-end parts.

With R508, we have been able to expand the number of applications for which rubber is not just suitable but, in many cases, is more wear-resistant than metal liners.

    Linatex® Premium Rubber

All of the wear components of our Warman® WGR® medium-duty slurry pumps are manufactured from industry-leading Linatex® premium rubber.

Linatex® premium rubber has a proven reputation for being extremely strong, tough and resilient, and for providing unrivalled wear performance in wet sand applications.

    S42 Polychloroprene (Neoprene)

S42 Polychloroprene (Neoprene) is a high-strength synthetic rubber that can be used for pump wear parts including impellers, cover and frame plate liners, and throatbushes.

It is less affected by temperature compared to natural rubber and has excellent resistance to weathering, ozone and oil.

S42 has moderate chemical resistance to oils, fats, grease and some hydrocarbons and solvents. This makes it ideal for use in oil sands applications.

The WARMAN® pump throatbush using the erosion-resistant, U38 polyurethane material.

    U38 Polyurethane

U38 is an erosion-resistant polyurethane material that performs well in applications where “tramp” is a problem.

U38 performs very well in tailings, flotation and leach duties, and is frequently used for pump impellers, expellers and liners, including throatbushes and frame plate liner inserts.
