Reusable Hydraulic Hose Kit - 1/2" Steel Female JIC w/ Adapter - Sold in Pairs. It’s great for connecting sections of hydraulic hoses or pipes, ensuring leak-proof performance. You can assemble and disassemble hydraulic fittings multiple times, making them reusable.

The diameter of the hydraulic hose pipe fittings is 1/2 inch. It’s a female JIC, which ensures a leak-free connection and efficient pressure handling. It has a spiral-braided design for the seamless fitting of hoses (check the hose size before purchase). Robust Construction: The hyd hose fittings are engineered from steel and coated with zinc. The material will ensure robustness and longevity despite multiple uses and applications whereas the coating will protect them from corrosion and rust. Changing weather conditions and the environment will have the least effect on the material. Compatibility and Replacement: These hydraulic hose pipe fittings are compatible with R2, R16, R17, R19 2-Wire Hydraulic Hose and 2SN/2SC Hydraulic Hose. Hoses with an inner diameter of 1/2" (outside diameter - 7/8") will fit inside the female JIC and you can use an adapter to connect two female JIC. Additionally, you will find these fittings with Pehel reusable part numbers: 26718D-04-04R2 (Female JIC) and 1J-04 (Tail). It’s ideal for SAE 100 R2 hose models. Functionality: The purpose of these hydraulic fittings is to connect hydraulic hoses to other components like pumps, valves, cylinders, and other hoses. It creates a tight seal and connection, ensuring leak-proof performance and pressure retention. You can use these with other fittings like male JIC (not included) across different industries, such as construction, agricultural, industrial, etc. You can use our fitting for equipment such as tree trimmers, dozers, snow plows, tow trucks, etc. Quick & Easy-to-Install: The spiral braided designs will connect quickly and easily with hoses/pipes. You will not require additional tools, you can just use your hands and twist fittings into the hoses.

Installation

Twist the hose in a clockwise direction onto the broader side of the tail - don't tighten it completely, leave a 1/2 inch space between the hose and JIC tail. Once you have inserted the hose, connect the female JIC fitting (use the elongated side) to the other of the tail (ensure you insert the female JIC into the hose). The one end of the connection is completed now, you have to repeat the above process on the other side of the hose (you want to connect). Once you're done, connect both the female JIC fittings with the JIC adapter given in the hydraulic hose kit.
