The Geek Bar Pulse X is the direct follow up for the Geek Bar Pulse. You can basically think of it as an attempt to take everything that was great about the original Pulse and make those things even better. It’s even available in a nicotine-free variant for those who want to enjoy the vapor without the nicotine. The main feature of this device is that it includes more vape juice than in the original Pulse – 18 ml as opposed to the 16 ml of the older device. Geek Bar claims that the extra e-liquid enables the Pulse X to deliver up to 25,000 puffs in total compared to the 15,000 puffs of the original Pulse. Even before you get to the point of thinking about the puff count, though, the first thing you’ll notice about the Geek Bar Pulse X is the updated appearance, which features a wraparound light show. The main portion of the display shows the same information as always, including the e-liquid level, the battery’s charge and what vaping mode you’re using. Around the sides of the device, though, LEDs light up in the shape of a constellation as you vape. The Geek Bar Pulse X was the first disposable vape with a curved light show in this style, and several manufacturers have since copied the design. Although the Geek Bar Pulse X is similar to the Geek Bar Pulse from a usage standpoint, it does include an important usability feature that you’ll find useful if you’re a heavy vaper: It supports fast charging. The battery charges at a faster rate when it’s empty, coming up to an 80-percent charge in just 20 minutes.
While the Geek Bar Pulse X increases the e-liquid capacity compared to the original Geek Bar Pulse, the Geek Bar Digiflavor Sky increases the power and the battery capacity. The tradeoff is that the Digiflavor Sky is slightly larger than the Geek Bar Pulse, but you’ll hardly mind because you’ll be too busy admiring the huge full-screen display. While the Geek Bar Pulse has two available vaping modes topping out at 20 watts, the Geek Bar Digiflavor Sky has three modes with a maximum output of 25 watts. Since the Digiflavor Sky has the same dual-coil design as the Geek Bar Pulse, the higher output means that you can look forward to bigger, warmer clouds. The Digiflavor Sky can also operate at 12 or 18 watts. The Geek Bar Digiflavor Sky has an increased battery capacity of 800 mAh, which is a 23-percent increase compared to the 650 mAh capacity of the Geek Bar Pulse. Aside from the huge full-screen display, another feature of the Geek Bar Digiflavor Sky that we absolutely love is the fact that you adjust the wattage via a button and not the airflow slider. With the Geek Bar Pulse and Pulse X, the slider adjusts both the wattage and the vaping mode. That means you can’t use the device with low wattage and high airflow or vice versa. With the Digiflavor Sky, you can use the device with whatever combination of wattage and airflow you prefer. As with the Pulse and Pulse X, you can also use the Digiflavor Sky’s slider to turn the device off.
Unlike the other two devices on our list of new Geek Bar products, the Geek Bar Digiflavor BRK isn’t actually a traditional disposable vape at all – it just looks like one. It’s actually a pre-filled pod system, and it’s among the most novel ones that’s ever come through the VapeJuice.com lab. The pod holds significantly more vape juice. A typical pre-filled pod vape holds less than 2 ml of e-liquid, but the Digiflavor BRK holds 12 ml per pod. The Digiflavor BRK doesn’t look like a traditional pod system. With a typical pod vape, you install the pod by pushing it into a chamber at the top of the device. With the Digiflavor BRK, on the other hand, the pod attaches to the battery magnetically. The Digiflavor BRK also doesn’t work like a traditional pod system because the “pod” also works as a standalone device with a battery capacity of 200 mAh. You can use the pod on its own and connect it to the battery unit as needed for recharging, or you can use the two components together to take advantage of the features and longer battery life. The other thing that makes the Digiflavor BRK so unique is the fact that it looks and works exactly like a disposable vape – but most of the electronics and battery capacity are in the battery unit, which you can keep and reuse until the battery eventually stops holding a charge. The battery unit and pod have a combined capacity of 1,200 mAh. Apart from the need to replace the pod when it runs out of e-liquid, the Geek Bar Digiflavor BRK works essentially the same as any other Geek Bar with the exception that the airflow isn’t adjustable. The device does have a dual-coil configuration like other new Geek Bars, though, and you can switch between the single-coil mode and the dual-coil Pulse Mode by pressing a button on the bottom of the battery unit. As you’d expect from any modern disposable vape, the Geek Bar Digiflavor BRK has a built-in display that shows the device’s status. The battery component automatically detects the flavor of the connected pod and changes its color to match. The other feature is an automatic timer that displays the lengths of your puffs.
