Sativa strains generally produce an energizing “head high.” Users of sativa-dominant strains report feeling productive and creative. Popular strains include Durban Poison, Jack Herer, and Banjo.

Hybrid strains tend to have a mixture of effects due to growers crossbreeding parent plants. While some hybrid strains provide balanced effects, others are more dominant toward sativa or indica. Popular strains include Pineapple Express, GSC, and Trainwreck.

However, it is worth noting that the strain of a cannabis plant is not always predictive of its effects. Some indica strains may produce euphoria while some sativa strains may result in tiredness.
