Founded and headquartered in British Columbia, Hevvy/Toyo Pumps has been a proud Canadian designer and manufacturer of slurry pumps for over 40 years.
Since being founded in 1979 in North Vancouver, we’ve been engineering slurry pumps to perform in some of the harshest, most extreme conditions. Our size, independence, and focus on slurry pumping are what make our team very agile so we can create long-lasting, direct relationships with our customers while providing more innovative, more efficient, more reliable, tougher, and more worry-free experience.
Over the course of our 40 year history as Toyo Pumps, the company has progressively evolved. Our valued customers have helped to shape us, and from years of listening to their particular needs, dreams and continuous positive feedback – we created the Hevvy Pumps product line to service these requirements. We don’t believe in relying on past merits alone. Make no mistake – the Toyo name has served us well. Toyo is a proven technology, despite being developed years ago. Hevvy is about embracing our proven Toyo technology and incorporating it into our new designs to both improve and create better products.
