5000 Series Two-Piece Crimp Couplings have a huge advantage over most competitive lines. This single range of couplings is used not only for wire braid and textile hoses, but also for SAE 100R12 spiral hose applications as well. This single feature reduces inventory investment, carrying costs, and space requirements compared to other two-piece and one-piece crimp systems found in today’s market. Wherever possible, elbows and flanges are machined from bar stock and then bent and heat treated for maximum strength. Fittings made in this way are stronger than conventional brazed fittings assembled from parts.
