West Memphis residents are under a boil water advisory after West Memphis Utilities lost two critical transfer pumps in the water system on Friday night, according to the city of West Memphis.

Crews are working to restore service, but at this time, they can not move enough water to maintain pressure while demand is high.

All customers are asked to limit usage to essential needs only.

If you must use water, boil it before use to ensure safety.

Running taps
